Try cooking the sausages in a nice beer next time, thank me later 🌭🍺 Loved all the drone work 👏 PS- congratulations on finding a new place, its sooo stressful especially in any bigger city/area
Jonathan, I have a suggestion for you with your dog. Go to a thrift store and get yourself some towels and blankets. I camp with a dog as well and having them with me for my dog when he gets dirty or when it rains. It helps to keep the dirt down in the camper.
I am 62 just for reference . My grandmother sent me and our 2 skillets from camp to the creek when I was about 6 or 7 . Her words to me were : put the pan in the water and use the small stones and sand from the bottom , fill it up and swirl them until all the food is gone. When you are finished nring them back to me . She was born in 1908 . She inherited them from her mother and my sister still owns them . Cast iron is not sensitive nor fragile . When I returned with the pans she washed them with soap amd water
Great video as usual! As for your dog in the bed, he wanted to play with you! Our two dogs always want to play when they get in our bed! Keep up the good camping videos and we're happy you have a traveling buddy!
I run a line between two trees or stable objects that are off the ground. I take a carabiner to clip her leash on. So it gives the dog a line to run without getting tangled. Kinda like a way boring zip line.
Congrats to you and Tess on completing your housing quest. If you survive the puppy, you'll have a great dog, companion, friend and camping buddy in her. Take care and God bless.
"Pick up your dog sh*t"... YES!!! It is your responsibility as a dog owner. As a rescue pup owner, picking up after your pup is a #4 in the 10 Commandments for dog owners.
Jonathan, the video was glorious. Such awesome views and fishing shots. Really enjoyed. Thanks for amazing filming. Adorable puppy too. It's clear that she is very happy and enjoying life. Good success in your new home!
I have a 14 month old border collie/lab mix and his energy has not depleted whatsoever from when he was 4 months. It's a lot of work, but I regret nothing... life is a little sweeter with our little friend. Good luck with Kaya Jonathan! Also this looks like the Owyhees.
Wow look how big your puppy is getting Kaya is one beautiful dog 🐶 what a nice camping place thank you for taking us along and congratulations on finding a new home ❤️🤍💙
What a nice video. Kaya is getting so big and she listens very well to your commands. She does super with her sit and wait. You’re doing a good job with her. Especially not letting her off leash. Puppies can be very exhausting. I have two dogs a 6 year old and a 3 year old. The 3 year old is still puppy and has a lot of energy. Thank you for making that delicious Sandwich. now I’m hungry. 😂😂. See you next week for another cool video.
She was wanting you to play with her when you thought she wanted off the bed, that’s why she kept acting like she didn’t want down, she just wanted you to play. 😎
Hey Jonathan. Been a fan for about 3 years and I love you content. I got hooked by your channel when I saw your Yellowstone photography video. That was really cool. I think Yellowstone would be a cool place for you to explore again
I love that area that you're camping in. I just spent 4 days in the Deschutes state campground. Only $10 a night for primitive camping, but I had access to hot showers. I've also stayed in Rufus at the Army Corps of Engineer camping along the Columbia River. I like it there because you can stay 7 days for free.Kaya is adorable she definitely looks like a handful LOL.
Just a little training every day and you will end up with a great dog, looks like she has bonded with you!, so now you are her pack leader( dog daddy) !!!!
Even though i miss the camper Your Videos are still Awsome, You still have a truck with a cab so Awsome Thank You i was going to tell you Hey Beat the status Coal i miss those quotes LOVE and GOD BLESS You my friend 🥰⚘🙏😇
An easy way to start figuring out which nymph to use-- pick up a rock, (about the size of your 2 fists), from the river. Turn it over and see what's living under it. Try to match those critters to your nymphing flies in order of importance; size, shape, then color.
I am going to guess, Beavertail Campground? I knew it was the Deschutes right away as soon as the drone footage showed the area. We will be rafting the Deschutes June 15th with an outfitter out of Maupin. Not sure where we will camp with our camper that Friday night or Saturday night but we will find something. We also planned on stopping at the day use park there at those same waterfalls. You asked about where to go next. How about John Day Fossil area, the Painted Hills section? I was looking at some different areas to camp not far from that area. I am about a 5 hour drive from Maupin area but we do get down that way at times. We are weekend warriors and camp year round mostly in the Inland Northwest. I do not do a TH-cam Channel but I do a simple blog travel site on our travels. Odds are we may come across each other at some point. My camper is easily spotted as it has The TC Life on it. Meaning The Truck Camper Life of course. Safe travels and keep having fun getting out and exploring.
Great video! Thanks! Glad you & Tessa got the apartment sorted out. Moving is such a pain, but good that you see the light at the end of the tunnel. Wonderful to see you & Kaya enjoying outdoor adventures! One suggestion on a place to go is Mount Saint Helens - a stark yet beautiful landscape. If you’ve never been there, I’d highly recommend it. Keep on adventuring!
Another fun video. Thank you for posting. If you're ever in the area, head to the Eastern Sierras. That's my favorite place in the world. Great fishing, too.
Miss seeing these beautiful scenic camping trips with beautiful Kaya. when she was barking at you, she wants to play, bring some toys to throw around for her to chase when you are camping, help get out some of the energy. She loves to be around you. Kaya is a sweet puppy. I agree blm camping is the kind of camping that I enjoy also. Go on more blm sites with Kaya with great views like this❤
It would be awesome to see some more Oregon Coast camping trips! I travel from Montana to the OC multiple times a year. I love it out there! I recommend Cape Blanco state park. 🌊
Hope one day you come to Sedona, Arizona and Cottonwood, Arizona, beautiful towns, also Jerome and Clarkdale, Arizona. You are going to love it, Jonathan.🐕
Hi Jonathan! I have been watching your videos for about a year and now I view the recent ones pretty much the day you post them!! I wanted to suggest going to Mammoth for one of your trips! I've been going there since birth and will be there with my fiance and my family this summer July 16-21. We always get a condo in town now but for years I camped at Lake George- by far the most beautiful of the lakes in my opinion with easy access to Lake Mary and within hiking distance of Crystal Lake, a lake you can only get to by hiking. The fishing options are plentiful! Come when I will be there and you will have an in town spot to park at and a place to shower if you so desire!! It would be fun to meet up to fish or even do the day trip of hiking to Devils Postpile and Rainbow Falls! Mammoth is literally my happy place so I love any chance to share it with people who appreciate and love the outdoors and same hobbies as my family enjoys!! Bring Tess and the puppy of course!!! 🌲🏞🏕🌌🌠🌞
Get a small crate and 2 small exercise pens to connect to the crate ( a small x pen only costs about $35). This will make a safe run and she won’t get tangled
Next time you are in Maupin maybe try stopping at the Rainbow Tavern Timberline Lodge owns it now and the have great food. Maybe try a guided raft trip on the river or a guided drift boat fishing trip will help you with your fly fishing.
Exercise makes a very good puppy. If you aren’t already you might try walking her for at least 30 minutes 3 or 4 times a day. She might not have to go in timeout.😊💗
What worked for me and my dog was a “20’ retractable dog leash” that I velcro’d to the top of my trailer (top of your ladder) to keep the dog from getting tangled in their own leash…
Hey Johnathan I did a road trip from So cal to Washington state recently. I was very impressed with the Oregon coast. It would be nice to see you in that area since it's not too far away. I plan on going up there and explore the area in the future. I've lived in Las Vegas for 34 years so rain and ocean mist is a very ideal environment to me. The seafood places are delicious too 😋 Enjoying your channel 😀 👍
Good call on the no fire. I know that area well and with high winds it’s definitely not a good idea. I just spent the weekend fishing the Metolius River, no luck but always a beautiful area to camp at. I’m sure the Dechutes is about to be poppin’ Was that white river falls? Been a while since I was there.
Great video, enjoy the antics of the puppy. My wife and I are doing an RV trip out to the West Coast, and are particularly looking forward to Washington state and Oregon. I hope you’re regarded is giving away one of your spots, but where was this video filmed? That was a beautiful river scene. We won’t be able to to go there because we have a large class that is for a handicap person and it doesn’t get around spots like that too well. But we might like to take the car and drive through there one time. Thanks.
Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado (San Luis Valley, CO down towards Santa Fe) is some of the most beautiful country in the world. Maybe you could do a cool following the Rio Grande trip and hit up some lakes and mountains? Would be a super fun trip. Been on my list to do for a while.
If you are in Oregon, maybe try sandboarding. I was there about 10 or 15 years ago and had a blast with my sons. You have to climb up the sand dunes but you might enjoy that since you already know how to snowboard. Just to warn you, its not quite the same. Perhaps look into it. Cheers and thanks for sharing.
@@JonathanYentch I can't remember the name of the place but it's directly west of Eugene. We rented boards from one place and camped at a place right on the coast. Pay for camping but the sandboarding was free. Plus fresh seafood. One of my best trips ever. Hope to make it back someday. Hope that helps.
Every dog I've ever had loved camping and it's great you have a camping partner now.
Try cooking the sausages in a nice beer next time, thank me later 🌭🍺 Loved all the drone work 👏
PS- congratulations on finding a new place, its sooo stressful especially in any bigger city/area
I want to say to all the negativity or personal thoughts on doggy training give it time give it time he is doing great, good job bro
Jonathan, I have a suggestion for you with your dog. Go to a thrift store and get yourself some towels and blankets. I camp with a dog as well and having them with me for my dog when he gets dirty or when it rains. It helps to keep the dirt down in the camper.
Great idea. She does get very dirty! (As she should 😄)
@@JonathanYentch they sure do get really dirty. I know that from mine.
We have a waterproof blanket over the bed also as a bed spread.
She is getting so big. Love how she obeys your commands. Awesome waterfall and food! 👍🏼👍🏼 you are doing a great job with your puppy
She’s growing a lot! Thank you 🙂

My girlfriend and i have gone on our first one night trip in the truck bed build! Thanks for the inspiration and genuine content.
She is getting so big. Love how she obeys your commands. Awesome waterfall and food! 👍🏼👍🏼
Such a beautiful area you were travelling in! Gorgeous and you do a great job capturing the scenery!
Kaya is an awesome, extremely cool dog. I also appreciated the tip on seasoning the cast iron skillet. Thanks for posting your videos.
Great video. She really is a beautiful, spirited dog. It’s like she doesn’t want to get down, she doesn’t want to be up there by herself!.
I am proud to say after many years I finally have learned to properly season my cast iron
"Pick up your dog sh*t"... YES!!! It is your responsibility as a dog owner. As a rescue pup owner, picking up after your pup is a #4 in the 10 Commandments for dog owners.
Man, i salute you for camping with a pup. My 5 month old pit is such a mad man i couldn’t imagine lol
Spectacular Opening Epic Waterfall Good to see Caia Congratulations on finding a new place
Thank you!
Jonathan, the video was glorious. Such awesome views and fishing shots. Really enjoyed. Thanks for amazing filming. Adorable puppy too. It's clear that she is very happy and enjoying life. Good success in your new home!
Beautiful scenery! Kaya is absolute blessing to have around too. Best of both worlds.❤❤
Haha! Yaasssss! the wooooooo (after coffee) and the “go on some adventures of your own” outro made it back into a video 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼We’ve missed it! 😉

Most definitely.
I was just about to comment this! She was definitely asking for play

Coarse sea salt is good for scrubbing cast iron, too.
You are doing a great job training your puppy! Good dog daddy.
Even when you tether your dog… always keep an eye on them because they can become strangled on a tether like that.

Look up the ruffwear knot a hitch for Kaya. I think you both will really enjoy that leash system while camping.
The puppy is teething, and she wants to play.
I have gone to Grande Teton and yellow stone after watching your videos.. Would love to see your Glacier national park video 🙂

You must head to Michigan and visit the Leelanau Peninsula (specifically Sleeping Bear Dunes) and the Upper Peninsula.

Rig a Jack Line then connect the leash to it.
Wow! The opening scenes..and you're camping there. Totally envious RN. Happy for you though✌
Gonna start my truck build in October I can’t wait
Nice, you’re gonna love it!
At 4:08 to your right of your head way in the background it appears a large animal was moving around. Keep an eye on your pup. Enjoy your videos.
Slowed down and zoomed in and it appears to be a person with a dog. Maybe Bigfoot lol.
