Infernax was made by someone who also lived in the 8-bit era of Castlevania games, inspired by it and does more with the gameplay formula to be it's own thing. You and I probably grew up around the 8-bit era as well. It doesn't do you any good to criticize the game for what makes it comparable. I mean the armor and weapon change happen ina cutscene when you choose to go on the bad route, like you actualy have to go meet the cultust and accept to bring thela victim for a sacrifice and then they give you the sword and the new armor as reward.

After beating the main campaign, you unlock an extra mission, which is the same final duel on Mustafar between Anakin and Obi-Wan like in the previous level, except this time you play as Anakin. Win, and you'll watch a cutscene, in which Anakin manages to evade Obi's slash and kill him, then return to the ship where Palpatine and some clones await him. He grants Anakin a red lightsaber and says that the galaxy belongs to them now, after which Skywalker uses a brand new toy to penetrate Palpatine, and tells the clones that the galaxy belongs to him instead. This is where it ends, but I'm sure the aftermath would be on the same par on what Alcedor does in ultimate evil ending.

Vader's suit was made intentionally flawed, partially to keep him in constant suffering in order to improve his connection to the Dark Side, but it was also made weak to Force Lighting so that Vader could not use the power himself and so that he would be basically guaranteed to die if he ever challenged Palpatine. Something that, of course, eventually happens and does cost him his life.

It's interesting that none of these endings feel very satisfying. Normal Ending: You die and Bophomet's still out there. Good Ending: You win and humanity exterminates demons with no indication if the world actually got better. Evil/Ultimate Evil Ending: You become the evil emperor of everything as the world gets bloodier. True Ending: WTF? You get closure, but this just came out of nowhere. You might enjoy one ending more than the others, or find one ending cathartic, but it's telling that no ending feels like a satisfying end.

Dark lord Alcedor is way more dangerous than any Sith. He makes both the living and the dead fear him. Did any Sith lord bring fear to those who died?
