Every time I see one of your reactions I feel like I'm in a multiverse: two Finnish girls who follow kpop from the homeland of metal (I know something about it, I followed HIM for about ten years in Helsinki and around concerts in Europe, I really like Poet of the Fall and other bands). For three years, almost 4 now, I have fallen madly in love with Taemin and consequently with SHINee. I find him unique and inimitable and every performance of his captivates me. Also unique for his duality off and on stage. Have you already seen his concert Metamorph?
Yeah, it's a bit funny isn't it? I enjoys dark concepts in Kpop, but we are both non-metal-listeners, even if we know a few people in the metal band circles and have therefore heard a range of styles. Honestly HIM is the hardest I can still enjoy a song. I feel like Taemin has a very unique touch, he can do anything any other idol does but his own style is so refined. I have seen some clips of Metamorph but not the whole thing, no.

Ahh, Poets of the Fall! That's a band I didn't think would come up here for sure. Had a friend who was a huge fan of theirs and saw them live as well :) Love this connection. And yes, we absolutely have get Es to a concert sooner or later! -Kay

Also he was fighting a cold during that whole concert but still killed it in his early 20s (between 21-24 yrs old) when he did this concert tour.

This performance of "Sexuality" was part of Taemin's first solo Japanese Arena tour, which was in 2017, so if you watch the whole concert you will discover that the majority of his songs are in Japanese.

If you think this performance was sexy, just wait until you see his live performance of "Slave" or "Play Me," etc. Sexuality is fairly tame compared to some of his other performances. LOL Taemin is known for being super sexy when it comes to his solo content. It's just part of who he is, and he does it without even really trying.
Taemin has two types of songs when it comes to his solo work. His songs are either super sexy and sensual or they are technically complex and beautiful. But either way they are always mind blowing. Just take a look at the titles of some of his songs: "Danger," "Soldier" "Sexuality," "Tiger," "Press Your Number," "Guess Who," "Mystery Lover," "Hypnosis," "Slave." "Crazy 4 U," "Play Me," "Flame of Love," " Under My Skin," "Thirsty," "Want," "Criminal," etc. Or "Ace," "Already", "Door, "Pretty Boy," "Move" "Artistic Groove," "Famous," "Idea," etc. Each song is meant to show you exactly why he is one of the best in the industry even just by their titles. I find it interesting that all of his songs, with the titles alone, tell you exactly what Taemin is all about. If you look at the titles of his songs, you will see that the titles convey one of two things about him, either painting a picture of his sexy and sensual onstage personality, or they explain his dedication and passion as an artist.
But that's only his onstage personality. When not on stage, he is actually pretty shy and quiet and he blushes and becomes super awkward when he even tries to flirt with someone. And when he is with the other members of SHINee, there is no doubt that he is the baby of the group. You would never guess he could ever be this sexy on stage.
This is a perfect example of what makes him one of the top performers in the industry and why he is one of the most popular solo artists, as well as a member of SHINee.
And of course, not only is Taemin's dancing amazing, but he is doing it while singing live as well. After all, he is a member of SHINee LOL.
SHINee almost never lip sync during live performances. It's actually more shocking to see SHINee not singing live. That is one of the many things that makes them kings of live performances.
Fun fact: As Es mentioned, Taemin is performing on a octagonal stage. If you watch the making of video/ documentary for this concert, th-cam.com/video/eSuG6nGvvlQ/w-d-xo.html, you will see that Taemin had a really hard time trying to figure out how to perform on a round stage. It took some extra practice and planning for him to understand how to use the round stage. And when he first started out, he had a hard time figuring out where he should be on stage at certain moments. This was his first time ever performing on a stage in the round, and he wasn't used to not having a defined front of the stage. It took him a few performances before he became comfortable with performing with that set design.

😭 This was also months before unforeseen tragedy hit hard for both SHINee and SHAWOLS (fans) too soon in December 2017 when our beloved Jonghyun took his life because he could mentally handle the immature FANWARS on top of cyberbullying of ANTIs telling him to go die and such. I wish I couldn’t been there to try to talk him out of it which pisses me off so much that no one was around to watch over him as he took to social to say his last goodbyes, I literally screamed thru my phone typing until my fingers ached trying to get him to see my comments begging him not to do it but he didn’t see them.
JONGHYUN and TAEMIN are my biases but OT5 4 Life along with the 100+ so biases and counting equally.

Hehee, Taemin's lyrics are often quite good to read in the winter for warming purposes. Flame of Love is absolutely on the top of the list, I'm curious how Kay will like it as it has a bit more outlined story than Sayonara Hitori.
