Just wanna clarify we don't have evidence that Fargo had Klunk or Santa, and I've removed that outdated section from the wiki page. All 100% confirmed stores are currently listed in the ShowBiz Events category for Klunk and Santa, to where its a different set of stores each year.
@@ChuckEEntertainment But without any evidence you can't state something was there. That being said, if the comment above yours is true then I would say that's evidence enough that they were there.
I used to live in Fargo and go here all the time when I was younger! One time I found a case of bullets in the ball pit 😬 told staff and they gave me a superman necklace as a thank you lol
This definitely was one of the most unique locations, and its really the only one i grew up knowing so i feel lucky lol, but ya jasper and pasqually having latex masks until late 2007-2008 i believe pasqually still had latex hands in 2014 but then i think it was in 2016 he had one latex and one plastic hand lol. I still cant process that they arent there anymore, i keep having dreams about that place.
Thank you for covering this location!!! I’ve been to this location quite a few times! Im happy I enjoyed it while I could. Last time I went would be 2021 just a year before it was removed I made sure to bring some tokens as I knew they were phasing them out and they make pretty good souvenirs.
As a North Dakotan (from Bismarck) I remember seeing Chuck E. Cheese commercials as a kid and being disappointed we didn't have one in town. I remember wanting to go to Fargo just to see Chuck E. Cheese but by the time I went to Fargo for the first time, I was already 16 and was no longer interested. At least I got to grow up with Snoopers though which was a Local Pizzeria that was basically Chuck E. Cheese with out the animatronics or characters but that closed when I was 7
This is a really surreal video for me. I lived in the Grand Forks area about an hour north of Fargo, and while I don’t remember much about the old location, I still recall always having a fun time as a kid every time I went once in a blue moon.
I actually recently went to this location for the first time in years. I used to go a lot as a kid. But going to see it again with all of the animitronics gone and the whole ticket/system stopped. It really put a meloncholy feeling in my stomach. It really isn't the same location as it used to be. Great video though!
I remember the last time I went to the restaurant in 2018, I was so confused that none of the mouths moved, because when I was growing up/ was regularly visiting the business, (2010-2016) I remembered how fluid the mouths moved and how active the animatronics were. Idk, my favorite game was skeeball, far away from the stage, so maybe I just missed the slow deterioration.
Remember going there all the time as a kid, the arcade was great. The pizza was secondary. Went a few times as an adult for my niece and nephew and, well, about what you'd expect. Kids had fun though. It closed down not to longer ago out of the blue.
Do alpine ave, its in walker mi. There were 3 locations on the same street, with the last two being confirmed to have been across the street from each other, while being open at the same time until the late 2000s
I've been to this chuck E cheese and during my childhood i lived in fargo. I was talking with my friend and she said "when i looked back in the playground i saw a little kid following me and when she g9t to look back it wasnt there anymore. I've always been obssessed with ghosts and at Chuck E cheese tehre i use to hide behind the tbakes for about 20 minutes but even after i still felt uncomfortable. And the person that walks out in the costume didnt acare me but, on my birthday i had to stand right next to the animatronics and with my brother and older cousin next to me i kind felt comfortable. I have witnessed many of them getting stuck and mouths not closing, the pizza guy scared me more than ever, or even jasper! I havent been there since 2018? 2019?
What they meant by “redo the entire left side” was they moved the menu to the left wall to where it is normally, and then the salad bar would be moved where the menu would normally be
I got to take my kids to this location. It was all of our first times. It closed 3 days later. Eric, one of the workers there was super cool and very nice to my kids
I remember seeing the place again a few times before the animatronics were taken out. They still had a lot of the same video clips I saw as a kid from the early 2000's playing on the Tv's. I've still got tokens I've kept from both chuck-e and showbiz. They also still used the physical tokens and tickets for quite a while despite the advent cards to play the machines. Odd to see how the place has changed now. EDIT: Discovered the place is now closed from fellow commenters and local news. RIP.
Chattanooga opened on October 19th, 1982 as the 4th ShowBiz Pizza store in Tennessee (4th after Madison, Knoxville, & Memphis Hickory Hill) with a Rock-afire Explosion show. It was originally a franchised-owned store. They would later end up receiving the 1988 Remodel removing the old Showbiz decor, and adding newer decor. In 1991, Chattanooga received Concept Unification which removed the Rock-Afire for the 3-Stage and removed all Showbiz decor, added new decor, and a change to the exterior. Chattanooga was then bought by the corporate on September 16, 1996 along with 18 other locations. Chattanooga underwent another remodel in the Mid 90's which involved the removal of the Neon Signage, Blue and White Awnings, some checkers around the store and another exterior change. In 2000 or 2001, Chattanooga received the Phase 3 remodel removing older decor, adding newer decor, and SkyTubes. In 2006-2007, Chattanooga received the 2005 Remodel which removed all 1990's store art, Balcony Seating, Showroom Walls, another change to the exterior, adding purple walls, & the 3-Stage was removed for the Studio C Beta. Their road sign was actually interesting as the Phase 3 sign had Chuck E. in a different pose and had the Showbiz Pizza sign mold were kept from their 2000 or 2001 remodel and opening until 2013-2014 when the sign was changed to the Phase 4 sign. In September 2019, Chattanooga received the 2.0 remodel which removed the Beta for the Dance Floor. The store's Grand Reopening would occur in around December 2019. As of January 2023, Chattanooga still has the 2.0 Remodel and Dance Floor.
I loved that location. One time i found a condom in the skytubes 😭😭 I brought it to the lady at the front of the store and they gave me like 50 tokens for alerting them. I was so confused when the chuck walkaround was changed. I even said to guy in the suit that hes not the real chuck.
I flipped the image so his position looked better for the thumbnail. In hindsight it may have been better to flip Billy Bob since he would have looked less strange that way.

I once had my birthday party at the Fargo Chuck E Cheese and some kid stole half of my tokens. I'm still salty about it years later

Bad news: the store just permanently closed yesterday, that mean Sioux Falls SD is the last remaining Chuck E. Cheese in the Dakotas area.
Not only that, but it was the only Chuck E. Cheese’s 2.0 to have the old red Chuck E. Cheese’s text in the world.
