Over the years we were separated by college, careers, military service, families, etc and I wish anything I could have a do over and have these years with my brothers again! I’ll regret not being around my brothers for the remainder of my short life cause with what the 3 of us knew and what we could do, we would have been unstoppable and would have had some incredible times ! Big block Chevrolet engines have been winning races for a long, long time, and no matter how good LS’s and Hemi’s are, BB Chevy’s will still have a place and will continue to win for a long time to come. We run big block Chevys. We run a 540 with procharger in our Top Dragster. Also got a 588 with procharger going in our Top Sportsman S-10. We run with the big money guys in NHRA division 2. So with the right suspension and tune up we can run with the best of them. My little boy runs the biggest motor of all a Briggs L206 in his Junior. We will see you this weekend at North Florida Motorplex.
Cutting weight cost money 💰 those numbers are impressive James ,I've never had anything that light or that nice but I'm a big believer in going the route you are taking. Race the road brother and keep it simple,strap in ,relax ,dial it in and practice the fundamentals !
I hope you go out and drive that Chevrolet up all the Naysayers asses! I Always been a fan since Orangeburg SC, Mine and my sons First NPK event. Larry Larson won that I'm pretty sure in the S-10, but you guys pulled that event up from the flames and kept it afloat, you and your wife riding the golf cart and walking to the people sitting in cars for hours seeing who had what tickets and when we could get in, hats off for all that. I think you represent what the other guys in the racing wish they could! You represent the working man the man on a budget, the American made hard working family man, is what you stand for and it bothers people cause their fans don't look at them like that. I remember your first handful of passes in the original reaper car was one of the very first no prep street race cars that made me realize the transition in power that was happening just win it all kind of started to get going and take off for you guys and I remember watching you make a hit and taken the boys are all stepping up to a whole Nother level this is this is it good because it was a different level of race car than the other guys at that time
