What an embaressing and lame set of games here, Konami should just declare bankruptcy and give their old legendary titles to a company that can make them shine again. Not this shit they have been shoveling to the Wii since 2006.
Lord how I detest the absence of physical copies of games. Such a shame the industry has been steadily moving this way. This game would have looked beautiful with a shiny box and a beautifully illustrated instruction book in its place on the shelf among its older siblings.

But here, there are times that unexpected things happen, and I can feel the pressure and adrenalin that must have been going through the player at the time.

(Kings Valley Rebirth? One could hope. Heh a Metal Gear Rebirth and SD Snatcher Rebirth would have been in the realm of the impossible)
Too bad with the way things are going with Konami we likely will never see this game, Contra ReBrith and Gradius ReBirth re-released in the future, i'm sad I missed out on getting this one.
What I think is purely criminal is the fact they made the Battle of the Holy track for this and decided to go with Reincarnated Soul instead for the first stage. It's okay, but Battle of the Holy fits so much better.
I want an Igavania collection for Switch with this thrown in as a little extra. Curse Of Darkness and Lament Of Innocence remasters would also be killer.

The music seems out of place in a Castlevania game. It's using the Turtles in Time (and I think Sunset Riders?) soundfont. This would be fine in another game, but it's not for a straight-up Castlevania game. Outside of that, this game looks surprisingly good.
