Might wanna make sure your heart is actually in it. It's a grind to keep your brain mentally engaged with an activity for hours on end, ESPECIALLY if you have other things to be doing, but it's also one of the keys to mastery. I've drawn hundreds of BAD pictures in the past few months, and I'm still trying to improve my method. It's okay to be totally garbage at this, 99% of people are until they push through that phase and their brain starts making connections. I'd say the only thing I've gotten a LITTLE better at is form, but perspective, shading, hair, even faces, still very difficult for me >.>

I just came to this conclusion a few months ago (didn't go as Deep as you do at the end of the video) but i knew perspective and therefore form are the key, since then i am improving faster than ever, but It doesn't mean it's easy, some Days i just can't figure form and when the perspective is a little bit wierd it's hard to figure out how things would look, but now i know how to create a space for characters which is more than before so little by little It gets better

    Learning to draw them wrong.👈
    This can't be expressed enough.
Repetitive motion leads to comfortbilty but not a better drawing.
I suck. But I am trying. Lol!
    And this video helped alot!!
    Thank you!!!
But I'm painting now for the first time and it's going pretty cool.
I need to learn to draw because I have a million ideas for short movies and long movies. So thank you again!!!

i understood from your sketchbook video that perspective was an important way to improve but i still dont know how to practice perspective. what if i do it all wrong and have to relearn it? i would love a video where you could show how to practice perspective properly 😐

God I need to get my big dumb brain into that mindset. I’ve know it for a while but it’s scary to approach. Today I need to draw more in perspective and learn it better and then I’m gonna do it some more

The most problem for me is scale, like how big or small my character is compared to a car or building, and knowing where to place characters correctly if it's two characters,as well as knowing how to keep proportions and scale if my character crouches or bends down.
