I did nothing but perspective and form for 3 months before I even looked into anatomy. It's made my studies flow so good & I'm learning anatomy so quick
In in the middle of practicing anatomy as the first fundamental im learning above everything else, and I'm gonna go back and start practicing perspective and form. I'm just so impatient 😅

You have to master perspective first before you learn how to draw literally anything.

to be completely honest if anyone actually wants to learn the things you need to do to actually learn how to draw...then just listen and watch kuzo and ethan becker...Kuzo teaches the importance of perspective in drawing and ethan teaches the importance of breaking down and studying the works of professional artists...both which are very important to actually how to draw

The way of how i got better at drawing was:
1. Watch my idol's tutorials and vids
2. Anatomy and details practice
3.Proportions practice
4. HaIr PrAcTiCe(and all those facial parts)
5.SHADING PRACTICE
6. And repeating all these

Sometimes I regret not getting into art when I was younger but then again with awesome videos like this out, glad I started a year ago.
Would of made so many learning mistakes due to the lack of tutorials out there in the early 2000s.
When I was watching this video I went to my laptop and look up how to draw perspective and it is going-well so far thanks kuzo

My biggest problem is i expect to get good in 10 minutes and when i dont i give up💀

Me. I get frustrated a lot which causes me to completely shut down due to lack of motivation
It's because you are focusing on the end result rather than on the process... it helped me a lot when I realized that, its good to learn from masters, but ask about their process.. it gives you hope
Might wanna make sure your heart is actually in it. It's a grind to keep your brain mentally engaged with an activity for hours on end, ESPECIALLY if you have other things to be doing, but it's also one of the keys to mastery. I've drawn hundreds of BAD pictures in the past few months, and I'm still trying to improve my method. It's okay to be totally garbage at this, 99% of people are until they push through that phase and their brain starts making connections. I'd say the only thing I've gotten a LITTLE better at is form, but perspective, shading, hair, even faces, still very difficult for me >.>
hey kuzo maybe one day make a video on how to practice form! also the way of perspective has helped me massively ive started seeing similarities in the shapes that make up everything i realised that every thing has form and is made out of shapes in perspective !
every once in a while ill see something that takes everything i already know and makes it all click into place. This video is one of them!
I could not agree more with this video is the two aspects that hinder me more than laziness is what I need to focus on in order to overcome the rest, without forms and without perspective and will be without anatomy, without final art, with practically nothing.
Do a tutorial on perspective cause it will definitely help me understanding it more🥰🤩

I just wish I knew where to put the lines instantly to draw what I see in my head, like you do. I have a vivie imagination, i can see 2d objects and turn them in space in my head, but i can't draw them for the life of me.

Try learning from drawabox. I noticed my anatomy and perspective improved a bit.

Marshall Vandruff’s videos and Framed Perspective by Marcos Mateu helped me a lot. Everyone recommends Scott Robertson but i find the way he explains it too technical for my baby brain to grasp. Also what helped me is breaking down images, finding vanishing points etc
Many many free sources on the internet, just do a bit of research & that's with anything.
@@1JasperStories yeah i made my research and tried a couple of resources i just wanted to get his recommendations as well
I bought a book on figure and form, which helped a lot with anatomy, but you still need the perspective to make the anatomy work

I still suck at drawing, but after practicing perspective and form from mentions in your other videos I can actually start to piece anatomy and bodies together on paper. Really cool actually cause it doesn’t feel like I just copied but I’m actually learning heavily
Idk like you said, it’s just making life a lot easier with drawing 😹. Another example is how when I draw my drawings are easier to make expressive and not flat. Cause I realize at a point it’s going to only get bigger the farther it gets away. Or bigger the closer it gets to you if that makes sense 😹

This channel is the best source to get better at drawing: I always thought that my first type of drawing was perfect but I was wrong, I never tried to use perspective and I wasn't very good in anatomy. Luckily now I'm starting using this tips. Maybe I need a few years to reach a good level (I may go to an art school, I'd really like it!) but these videos have been very important.
In the future, if I get better, I'll may continue with my TH-cam channel

Not only that the *damn* perspective is everywhere, but I was just watching you draw with an amazed face, because you just sketch there and there and the manga style totally hops out of it TuT I know, that I need to learn the perspective because when I started to draw horses, I didn't know, why my horses looked bad... after a long time tracing the photos I found the answer - perspective and how is the object working!

If I could pick what my art dream would be, I just would like to be able to draw like you, sketches of things that look nice and believable. I don't even want my drawings to look pretty or rendered, I just want to be able to think of something, anything in mind and draw it correctly 😢

I’ve been taught and have been using the grid method and my current teacher has encouraged me to draw from imagination. This literally stopped me dead in my tracks, because it made me realize I couldn’t even draw from memory that ducking grid project, I spent HOURS doing. I knew there had to be more, which led me on my quest, which led me to you🥳🥳🥳🥳 and now I understand why I have a long, but productive way to go🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I've been doing shit with only basic understanding of form and literally no understanding of perspective I just never got it as a kid. Thank you, today I'm starting a new sketchbook and just wrote FORM AND PERSPECTIVE in massive font on the front.

Perspective is a key principle in drawing and can make your art go from good to great. Watch a lot of Kuzo videos and put them into practice. These kinds of videos are a free art class

YESSSS BRODAH U DID WHAT I WANTED PPL TO KNOW. dood u dont know how much i wanted ppl to know these 2 main things. ive watched u recently and ur pretty similar to me in this sense. perspective and form is the core step ngl. without it no-one can do amazing shit. and one tip from me, observe irl shit. whenever u have the time, just sit back and watch around u. and another thing, be patient. art or anything doesnt come like breathing until ur already used to its best degree. try ur hardest but before that, just do the steps, and u kno the drill.....rinse and repeat.

I quit drawing after 10+ years because i just couldnt draw anything but portraits but really wanted to be able to. I used references but nothing worked it ALWAYS looked awkward. This video explains it perfectly though. And its so mundane!! I cant believe I tried to avoid perspective all this time

I enjoy too much drawing detailed stuff, I guess that's why I'm not progressing, I usually take 2~4 hours to draw a full body. I think I'll start drawing as much as I can human body in perspective quickly without much detail and only with guiding lines and basic shapes, Thank you so much for the video 🙏🏻💖🥲
