Amon Amarth is the absolute best in Metal! I've been a Metal fan since the 70s and these guys are the very best. I don't even listen to my old favorites like maiden priest and Saxon anymore. Thank you Amon Amarth for the greatness!!!!!

yes but at the same time they can only do so much with what melodic style but I think Jomsviking from 2016 is one of there best albums and there is some good songs on berzerker
@@lucasstruna3962 Jomsviking has a couple of good songs (One Thousand Arrows is great). Berserker truly disappointed me though. I'd say their last truly excellent album was Surtur Rising. Everything since has been bland and on auto-pilot at best, sheer boring at worst (Berserker).
I’m not a giant Amon amarth fan, can’t say that I’ve even heard half their body of work. But upon first impression, this album struck me as really clunky and confused. Especially the drums in some of these songs. From what little I’ve heard, I feel like they became tremendously better song writers after this album was recorded.
This is still a really solid album.

@@hoagiesupreme Their 5 next albums were arguably more focused, yes. But I like this one too for the raw energy and creativity.
