@@littlamb13 yeah that’s Tourette’s. Sometimes it’s impulsive tics and sometimes less mild ones. This person saying the n word and having the drive thru worker hearing it on CAMERA isn’t enough proof she has it?
This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. When I "misgender" someone (even though I didn't in actuality) I just blame it on my tics. "I'm sorry you C.H.U.D. of a person, I meant to say sir."
If all else fails you could always become a rapper...if that one rock band could get away with and be praised for saying the n word a dozen times deliberately ..im sure theyed cheer you on if it was accidental.
And also- From what I understand that means you've heard the word a *lot* in order to develop a tic for it. So I think the simple solution here is- Stop hanging out with whoever keeps saying it and stop listening to music or watching shows that are constantly saying it.
I don't know where you got that idea from. I don't listen to music that says it. I listen to indie pop. I don't hang out with people who say it, and those that I do hang out with are people that come from a culture where it's acceptable. Again, I don't know why you think that. Coprolalia is just cursing tics and I know literal kids that somehow have heard the word ONCE and have it as a tic. The more you shouldn't say something and the more pressure against using it, the more it tics out.
YES! the only thing is that it is SUPER easy to pick them up and an actual tic therapist had to work with me for a while to try and replace a singular tic.

You really rock that Tourette's!
Stop blaming the victim.
You don't understand coprolalia. Did you listen to her when she stated that the person she got the tic from barely says the n-word?
“from what i understand” clearly you dont understand very much

You said you picked up the tic. Is it possible to replace the tics?
YES! the only thing is that it is SUPER easy to pick them up and an actual tic therapist had to work with me for a while to try and replace a singular tic.
That is crazy. It baffles me why tourette's isn't studied more. Would habit reversal training or cognitive behavioral training help at all?
@@spirit_shadow9590 i would love for more TS studies, honestly! Habit reversial training helps some people! But only with some tics.
