So interesting! It woudl be interesting to see to see what type of animal print suits different seasons, what type of stripe colours, what type of polka dots etc
So glad to see a class on prints! If I want to wear black (soft summer), a black print with a color that matches my hair color has always worked great for me. When I used to make my own clothes (mostly suit tops out of cotton--I love cotton) choosing fabrics in small, dark prints with lighter muted colors worked well for a professional look for me. Trims on black or dark colors do the same things, too.
When you said "drabbed down" the emerald green. As an Autumn myself, ☠️😂😅 I'm soft btw. Would love to see more content about how contrast affects the colors you can wear well. Wish I could afford your customized palette! ❤
I always have trouble picking out clothes in a store that are in my colors, so thanks for this video!! I'd also like to see how you pick outfits for the color seasons or characteristics. (tops, bottoms, shoes, accessories)
I appreciate you ladies! I was an Autumn when I was young - red hair, green eyes, pale skin. Now I have pale gray hair. So I am learning a lot and maybe I am a soft Summer now. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing - you sound like you are on the same journey as Lucinda. Check into the soft palette of the 6 dominant characteristics?!?! th-cam.com/video/9WZq1fihkT8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kp1P83O8CFN_qXE1 This could help or a soft sumer could be the right spot as well.
Love your videos. I’m very confused about my color season. I’ve been told I’m a spring, then told my energy exudes winter qualities, and then that I’m a soft. I’ve done a couple of online analyses with one showing soft autumn and the other cool summer. Help! 🤪
Always remember there are a ton of color analysis systems out there so when told something its usually based off of that one system that person was trained in. Try the 6 palette system th-cam.com/video/MXPWPJiTdQo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tAfrEjKNXKyeWYWZ
I have learned now why even though I am an autumn, I am soft and I look great In soft pastel summer pink! I am starting to get it. Your way makes perfect sense to me. Thank you so much🫶🏻
Thank you so much- there is a lot in common between the soft summer and soft autumn palette! Have you watched the 6 palette system video on strictly soft? th-cam.com/video/9WZq1fihkT8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Kx8_rseQS3HT8S9X
Request: Show differences between warm and cool eyes. Some green eyes have light yellow webbed through. Some have light brown around pupil. Some have blue mixed in. Some have darker blue on outer rim. Some have golden cast if sunlight hits just right. Some look blue. Some look light mint. Also, show light green vs medium vs dark green. Then show one with gray mixed in. The eye chart (not of real eyes) quiz from Color Me Beautiful is confusing, maybe for all the colors, not just the green.
I worked retail and when color me beautiful came out, customers were coming in with swatches..back then color wasnt as broad. It was very difficult to help them.
I am a new subscriber today. Thanks for explaining the seasons and the subseasons so well. I immediately knew I was a warm autumn from your explanations, and from that dress😁 I have lots of outfits in bronzy and peachy shades.,Those are so my colors. I get so many compliments when I wear them.
Here in Scandinavia Sara's hair would not be concidered light but medium. In the US where you see so many nationalities, shades and colors you have a different view. You have the whole palette to refer to.
So the depth of hair plays a big part into the best colors. When looking for a good color to match a medium depth hair you also look for a color thats medium depth as well so not too light and not too deep.
I think I've got it more, after seeing this. I'm graying, but not all over (more of the Bride of Frankenstein way). But you can still see reddish brown at the ends and underneath. Either Soft autumn or hitting spring territory. I still adore my olive green, but a more sage-y tone would be better. Sara, I'd love to see the rest of the outfit you are wearing, or is that just a top? In any case, the greens in it seem less olive and more pine green Very unusual tapestry look for the summertime.
I love y’all’s energy! I love how you show pictures and break it down, I’m still confused on what season I am but the paint example helps me understand on a makeup perspective as far as matte and satin, etc. great video! I would love for y’all to do my color analysis ❤
I am sure you would need to see the person to know for sure, but what would you choose for a person with lighter skin, medium brown hair and lighter blue eyes. I am thinking spring but I know nothing of color pallets.
So Spring is warm and bright. Summer is cool and soft. Your blue eyes make me think cool but if you have a warmer skintone and hair then it would push you spring. What colors do you look best in? Coral, aqua, salmon (these are spring colors) or baby blue, pastel purple, grey blue (these are cool)
Shopping in the wild is the perfect description of what it’s like to be an Autumn petite woman. I call it a safari hunt. 😂
I'm 5'2 & half and a autumn, it's a safari for sure!
Yes! I can relate 😂
Haha you are right!

Oh I love polka dots!

I recently learned I’m a light spring that can borrow from the true spring palate if I wanted to. I can’t wait to hear you talk about this theory !
We can tackle this topic for sure!

This is wonderful. Thank you
So glad you enjoyed it!

Great video! Great teaching! thanks
I love prints, its so hard to find tiny ones for my small frame plus warm. :S
Stay tuned me might be able to help with that soon!
A sequin dress that Is sparkly and reflects light is soft?
Yeah, I was wondering about that, too.
I think because it has more highlights and shadows which makes the overall vibe more “mixed” and therefore more soft
Good point - so because it is mixing high and low points its overall is going to be soft just like a pattern.

A really good determining factor of color analysis is intuition so Im glad this was helpful!

Love the tapestry top (dress?) Sarah is wearing ❤
Thank you so much! I was worried it was a little too deep but since it had such a low neck line I thought it worked out well.

Thank you so much! We are working on a way to do some color analysis so stay tuned!
@@ColorClassIncI can’t wait!
I actually learned a lot❤
Thank you so much - this comment means so much to the both of us!
I wish I could filter clothing websites by my season 😅

What season is grass green 💚
Spring, I think
Spring or autumn? it’s definitely a warm colour… i think depending on the exact tint or shade it could lean either spring or autumn
Yes, a bight and warm green is Spring.
What is grass green
When I think grass green I think warm and bright which falls into spring.
Irrelevant, but are you by any chance mother and daughter?
Yes we are! Here is a fun video we did with how our coloring has changed through the years th-cam.com/video/J09jL7TPuSA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=4guzFtD0OtojHyeq
