The bones would be good framing for an Triable Hut. :D Maybe for an Orc Warlord, who has his hut made from scavenged giant's bones.

You know what gets me? They could probably put out some nice minis if they wanted to. Like Oldhammer style ones. Kind of cartoony and silly but hinting at something worse. They also sell these Lego style minifigs for 3 for a dollar. And I just look at this and I'd rather they made 1 Mega style minifig instead of these off brand Lego deals.
They also sell a lot of terrain friendly stuff like the fairy garden items, all you have to do is take the points off the gnome hats and you got villagers,I got some rubber paths one year, and there's always trees and benches and stuff. And if you don't mind the copyright infringement, you can have a bunch of ratmen who looks like certain famous mice.

I have quite a few toys and things from dollar stores or other places of an equally cheap nature that I have used for miniatures or terrain.
I have converted quite a few dollar store farm or zoo animals into miniatures. Although I have had to adjust what I have considered "close enough" when it comes to scale.

Clockwork Dragon 👀. Lil owldoodle? Think Sphinx, but all the riddles are just... 1st grade addition, but he THINKS he is very clever. And he is. For a bird

I saw the Shrek dragon, I didn't end up getting it because I wasn't sure if it'd get any use but I might go back to pick it up. I didn't see the Minecraft dragon , that one looks cool and I could use it the way you did as a guardian sculpture.

When it comes to the actual dungeon, I like to run 5 sessions, but my players prefer a classic three act structure. So I write three acts, just like Shakespeare. 😉

It's funny. I grew up with stores like this everywhere. Basic stuff, low prices. Usually called dollar stores, or five and dime before that. Then the big box stores came along, and those all but disappeared. Then they came back, and even tho prices inevitably went up, they're still here. They're not exactly like the old ones, but they're basically the same. The only real difference is that nobody has pet departments anymore. I mean, where you could buy live pets, like birds and fish and hamsters. That's long gone. And I'm glad. It stank up the place.

When I make a "fluid" attack I like to use with DEX saves. But a PC in Plate armor can choose to remove the armor and automatically make the save.

I like random stuff from the Dollar Store but using it for D&D somehow never occurred to me. Great stuff!

I use those same dice for prototyping or proxying with stickers.

I've used final faction sculpts as fill in monsters for underdark D&D 😎 You got me started on Dollar tree years ago thanks ❤
