Cerca PV Plant (EN)

In partnership with EDP Renováveis, CJR Renewables was responsible for the construction of the Cerca solar park in Portugal, one of the largest projects in Europe.
The solar park features more than 310,000 bifacial solar panels, which absorb solar energy from both sides, optimizing the conversion to renewable electricity. Altogether, they represent an installed capacity of 202 MWp.
"In a year, the park is expected to produce enough renewable electricity to directly supply about 100,000 households, equivalent to 1% of the Portuguese population," estimates Bruno Gata, Head of Business Unit, adding, "We are proud to be part of this change."
