I swear This video made me cry. I felt so much positive emotions through the entire shoot session and It made me remember why I started photography. Thanks for the positive Vibes Phlo :)
Wow... thanks for sharing this.. I am happy this video made you feel this energy. We need a lot of positive vibes tbh.. So you're welcome. and thanks for taking the time watch the video as well...
Excellent work. Excellent video(s). Beautiful model. Love your enthusiasm, it really helps the model "glow" with her smile. Looking forward to the next video.
Man I sure wish knew where to find that tree your models grow on...smh.. you are blessed to have access to the most amazing help ... but that comes from the quality work you generate .. lately I've been using my translucent umbrella during my outdoor shoots and I really love that umbrella light a lot .. its super soft and beautiful
My 7’ translucent parabolic umbrella juuuuust arrived. A couple of hours before this video went live. I can’t wait to test it out. My idea was to use it as a diffuser and then maybe add a strobe through another modifier if needed. I can’t wait to see what I do with it
Love the lighting setup and full detailed explanation of everything your doing and why! Even though I'm a Nikon user on my channel I love that R5. Great video Phlo!
Thanks so much TMIDD… I love my r5 but I like how you’re using your Nikon as well. I enjoy watching your videos too! Thanks for taking the time to watch this . I appreciate it brother!
Okay let me see if I can make this simple. Let’s say Raw retains 100% data, so you can do anything you want to the image without losing data. JPEG on the other hand compresses data, and let’s say it retains 10% data. There isn’t much You can do with 10% compared to raw which has 100% I hope I made sense
Awesome stuff but I have a question; what adapter do you have on your small rig? I'm looking for something that isn't so cumbersome and yours looks like it will actually work! Thanks.
Thanks Bunmi. I do shoot with HSS sometimes. but not in this video. th-cam.com/video/jXw-n_Cbl9k/w-d-xo.html Click this link to watch me use HSS in the studio
@@oadefisayo There 3 things in your camera that you can use to control exposure. Aperture , ISO and shutter speed. Once you have decided on aperture, the next is your ISO or Shutterspeed. You can adjust these till you get a decent exposure. The last external setting is your flash power. You dont have to use full power all the time. Adjust the flash power till it looks good and doesnt blow out your images. I hope this helps
@@Phloshop Thank you. This helps. I see your strobe goes down to 1/32 power. The lowest on mine is 1/16 power, so at f stop values of 2.8, the image is still over exposed, even with my ISO at 100 and at the highest sync speed for my camera. Guess that's why I need better gear 😂
This lite a silver umbrella too hot for this model...softest lite you will ever find is a soft box bounced into a 4x8 foam core...you will find a great modeling highlite with it...i have shot products plastic with major defects an smoothes everything out...always remember a lite source needs to be 4 to 8 times larger than the face or half body waist up...dont care for the uneven highlites on models face

I just love the space u have. I wish I have such a space at my crib....... I'm so struggling with space
🤣🤣 I beg don’t kidnap me.
I’m sure you can make it work.
I learnt the key light goes through to the big reflector and bounce light to the subject so why the middle reflector and what does it provide?

nice one boss

Thanks for sharing this man, keep on killing it & hello from Israel ✌
Certainly will do brother! Hello from Ghana
Like did you use a prime lens because the camera automatically blurred the background or was it based on your camera settings 📸
Prime lenses allow u to choose to blur the background. How much of it depends on the photographer/settings
Can you please do a video on camera heights.
Thank you and God continue to bless you.
God bless us all!! What do you mean by Camera Heights?
@@Phloshop heights when talking full shots , medium and portrait shots.
Enjoyed
Thank youu!
I still have a LOT to learn. I need to understand this. I have done most of my shooting in jpeg settings. What is the reason for doing it in RAW?
