It seems this Garage 2 Step Tutorial is only second to Disclosure 2 step Garage demo but this guy is a by far a better drum sequencer & has a better Garage Vibe here 👍

I'm no way a Maschine MK3 pro , I'm more cubase , reason, mpc old style programming to be honest , this is very basic to what I use to do , all my samples are old Akia disks accept for chords are Air Music Xpand 2 vst, I'll do some tutorials soon in dept ! but also I'll be doing I hope some tutorials & videos with Dave the digital vinyl expert , check his channel it's great for Maschine👍

Maybe some longer videos or live Music Production in March , Garage, Dnb, House etc mix up the tempos & styles , but that's how we use to program UK garage in the 90s early 2000z, I hear lot of tutorials on here on future garage or bass, but I ain't heard that vibe , skip on the drums , so I hope this might help few 👍

@@TheNesta82 thanks mate , this is how I use to program drums for sequencing but now into maschine workflow with just drums no loops

Do you offer 1 to 1 tutorials? I really want to learn to arrange using a mixture of pattern lengths like you do. The roll drop you use as well is something I need to learn

No mate i don't think anyone needs that it's all trial & error until you catch a vibe. first thing is getting a groove on your drums ( slow the tempo down to get the hi hats shuffling ) catch the vibe Garage 2 Step of old is about the groove ( Shuffling in hats) the off ghost snares with short decay or vocal blips n fx 👍👍

Great video cheers, did you play the beat in then? Did they used to play the beats in the 90s and then quantise them? I find it hard to program good garage patterns in ableton with just a mouse. Thanks

      That’s good question thanks
Hmm I play the kick , snare & few hats real time to get a groove then I start adding bits normally
I just want to get a vibe first , I can play drums bit so sequencing is not different for me , I’m glad I’m demo something native instruments or others don’t do on TH-cam , more soon 👍👍👍

Also, where did you get those chord sounds from!? They’re perfect, need them myself

Chords are from old sample cds in the 90s i use to have scaled out on the keyboard 👍 i like old Synths more then plugins .
