- After nearly 10 years using the Seca Leicester stadiometer, Big Rob Paul from CelebHeights gets a new present from Santa, the updated version of the budget Seca Stadiometer, the 213 Model.
A more solidly built stadiometer, this version seems to be accurate with a small margin of error, plus or minus 1mm from my tests.

Im trying to take it apart to put into the carry bag but the last length of the rod that fits into the platform just wont come off. Is there a way to take it off i am missing?

Hey Rob thanx.....but pls advice I want to buy a stadiometer am a torn between the seca and the blue. Which one should I purchase.....I will mostly be using to access my clients in their home since I don't have a stationed office at the moment pls assist
After being up quite a few hours, you're still over 5'8.25". For accuracy, I think it's important you refer to yourself by this height during comparisons and not 5'8". Many people only 5'8" aren't still that much above that height by midday, I think.

Rob, would you consider a “digital medical scale stadiometer” too be more accurate then a “Seca height rod”? The model of the digital is called the “health o meter 500kl eye level digital medical scale” it was rumored that they give a different height measurement. What are your thoughts on that?
Yeah probably. I got the seca and it was just junk. Inaccurate. Every time I went to the doctor office I was 6ft and when I got the seca it measured me three inches shorter. Makes no sense.
Everyone keep saying "morning height " but what if someone work at grave shift and sleeps in the day time? It should be called " height after waking from long sleep "
Hey Rob, where can I get an accurate stadiometer? I am pretty sure I have gotten taller over the past few months, according to my wall measurements I'm 5'9" bang on sometimes 5'9 and a quarter in the morning, and shrink to about 5'8 and 3/4 by night. If I'm out during the day I can shrink to 5'8 and 1/2, in some cases 5'8 and a quarter. I would like to get an accurate stadiometer however to confirm this.

How we should look- down, straight or up? I have heard many things about that and I don't know which way is the correct one. Also how far should be our feet?

That Stadiometer looks great. Totally hassle free. Got to be better than the old fashioned method of sliding a book down a door and then making a mark with a pencil.

Hello rob, I really appreciate your accurate measurement of height. I am 16 years old and my height is 184 cm (at night it goes 183.4-183.6 cm). How tall would i grow(in cm) considering the fact that my father is 179 cm tall?

i was 174 at 16 too and remained that height.

So this stadiometer is more accurate than tape measurement.

I also wanted to be a huge 6’10 guy but remained only 6’5, well, still tall but not big, you’ll probably have to settle with your height especially considering South Asians stop growing earlier and at 18 you’re probably done.

hey rob, i am 186 cm tall in the morning and by night it dips to lowest 184.2 cm. How exact tall am i ?
@@RobPaul yeah when i wake up i measure 185.8-186 and 11 am it dips to 185.4 and by night it goes 184.2. So 184.8 or 185.1 cm is a possibility ?

You should claim 174 cm, you are closer to a flat 174 than a flat 173. You could honestly claim 5'8.5" and that wouldn't be bad at all.
Rob do you think I can grow anymore I’m 16 and 5’10 pretty much 5’9.75 in the evening 5’10.5 in the morning my mum is 5’4 my dad 5’8 my Mum said she stopped growing really late for a woman and was late bloomer and stopped growing at 18 my dad said he could grow a strong amount of facial hair at around 16 so I assumed he finished growing then

you drop a whole inch? thats alot. i wake up a bit over 5'10 (178.3 cm) and only drop to 177-176.5 cm (5'9.75-5'9.5) max even after a very active day

I would say your final height would be around 5'11 but I would not expect anything above 6 feet. The human body can stop growing height-wise at ages of 19-21, wait a couple of years.

Rob base of the tape always add 1 to 1.5 mm because of the thickness of base of the tape.
