It has been 60 years since the Rivonia trial, often referred to as 'the trial that changed South Africa'.
While the Verwoerd regime used the complicit justice system to jail anti-apartheid activists, it also exposed to the world, the cruel and inhumane apartheid system, which the majority of citizens were subjected to.
