In the first movie the both where wrong for the secrets they kept but in this one it felt like they needed to make Diana look undoubtedly villainous

Cause in my mind I was like maybe she was bored and needed something fresh hence why she decided to emotionally stray because to me Diane and Terry had no common ground so the fact that she met another lawyer who knew her position. It made it easier for her to get entangled

I think for Diane what changed was she fell into a routine and she changed her life around to give him another child focus on their family and not her career and for a lot of people that can get boring and everyday became the same and suddenly someone comes along and makes me feel attractive and wanted and she felt a spark that a lot of couples who’ve been together a long time lose and it was exciting
Thank you! Pisses me off that most of the comments made about Diane is that she’s a very selfish person, when she actually went and got her tubes untied just so she could give Terry the son he wanted so badly.
You’re right, she likely had fallen into a boring routine and like any human being, married or unmarried, she was excited about this handsome lawyer taking a genuine interest in her, especially since they shared their careers in common-something she and Terry didn’t share in common.
Everyone in this movie is flawed, even Terry, so trying to make Diane out to be a villain is blatantly unfair. Some serious marriage counseling would’ve benefited all four couples for real.
I felt like those with the biggest ego issues were Troy, Patricia, and Terry. Troy because he allowed his ego to make him lash out negatively at Sheila, who already knew he was feeling bad and felt powerless that she couldn’t help him with his job situation. So she did what she had to do to help, and it immediately eased a lot of the tension in their marriage-until Troy found out that Mike had called in a favor for him and then he again allowed his ego to take over, which did not help things.
Who gives a gd if Mike was the one who helped them?? It was the least he could do because he owed Sheila as far as I’m concerned.
Patricia’s ego completely blinded her to Gavin’s contribution to her book’s success and we saw how that turned out. And Terry’s ego nearly had him throw away his marriage over Diane’s emotional indiscretion when he should have been able to tell her honestly how it made him feel and work towards fixing whatever she felt was missing that would make her fantasize about Phil’s affection.
She probably believed it was harmless but it could’ve eventually turned into a physical affair if she didn’t deal with the emotional cheating sooner rather than later.

Tyler Perry always play the perfect husband with a problematic wife who’s either a drug addict or workaholic. Diane was having an emotional affair, Gavin & Patty were no longer able to keep up their facade, Patty should have never showed up to Gavin’s job humiliating him. Marcus had a study job & Angela couldn’t handle the attention that came with it, the reason why Troy didn’t want the group in their business was because he had a front row seat to how messy they were in the first movie & where was Trina when Mike was going through treatment? Sheila pulled a Bird from Soul Food & didn’t learn not to go behind your husband’s back to out of all people your ex to get your husband a job. I noticed that a lot of Tyler Perry’s movies are inspired by Waiting To Exhale & Soul Food. I would like to see the following movies from you:

And none the men and women wanted Mike back I don’t blame them after what he did to Shelia in the last movie.

That’s understandable but I think she was at her breaking point. You gotta remember in the divorce proceedings. He went after her money when it came to the books and then he went to the bank and took the money. So she was fed up of his greed. Then the night he got drunk and then physically assaulted her and burned their baby’s photos. Nah Gavin would’ve got his ass whopped in his office in front of all his coworkers idgaf. Like let’s be fair. And she gave him the money to start that firm. Let’s not forget any of these details.

Whats wring with Tyler Perry? Lol now, i get the hate in terms of the movies, in the early releases, they were great but, later on they did lose quality and only kept the comedy, I'll be honest on that but, outside of the live action movies, he does pretty good work honestly
lol to me nothing is wrong. I think Dye says it in the way of this isn’t something that he would typically watch or is gravitated towards. I think some of the original stuff is great and these movies were something I watch from when i was younger
