It’s a different level but I believe a higher level.. he has so much more in his bag and it shows.. yea sometimes he would go completely crazy physically but that’s the only real difference u can pick a bunch of individual performances of the last two years and they are better than any of the older ones as well… he rips solos and I feel like he hits perfect notes better when he is in the zone now than stadium days… and if there is any fall of with age like I said it’s physical not the actual skill of guitar… his chord progressions on the new albums are insane a magnitude of complexity and misdirection with his tricks than stadium arcadium so I would take the way is is now over back then. He’s been the best since he was 15 he knows what he’s doing and the more complex it gets the more it’s gonna go over regular humans heads.. if u haven’t mastered or studied guitar extensively you have no clue what is going on ur just listening to sound. Have to comprehend the influences and what exactly they want to sound like. They love their music most importantly so I can easily look at what they derived these sounds from and see that they are in fact killing it.

Man his Don't Forget Me solo in Detroit was absolutely crazy but this is without a doubt right next to it.
His debut at acl was way better imo. More thought out and flowed way better. More feeling and emotion

東京も大阪も参加しましたが、個人的には両日共に今のジョン・フルシアンテを感じられるこのEddieが一番最高でした！このソロは本当に凄かったです…！
再復帰後のジョンのパフォーマンスがSA以前と比較される向きもあるようですが、30代のジョンと50代のジョン、どちらもそれぞれ素晴らしいと思います。
ただEddieは、あのジョンが無事に50代になり亡くなったエディ・ヴァン・ヘイレンを想ってこんなにギターを泣かせせるのか、とグッとくるのですのね。
