One of the many reasons you are my favorite channel, Marion, is because of the way you show enough of your personal life for us to understand who you are and your generosity in sharing your talents with us. Even though I have sewed & stitched for decades, I have learned so much from you. Your sewing/craft room is just magical! Your chest of drawers & painting you did during Michael’s anniversary are beautiful as I’m sure your memories are as well. I’ve noticed each time you come on, your subscribers have increased. It is no surprise to me & I hope you find it exciting. I’m thrilled you’re staying with your well loved sewing machine & chair. Some things become old friends for life. Take care, Marion, and thank you for becoming our friend!
Thank you so much for this message. I told someone else about the desk and chair and they would have definitely taken them... but I don't need new things just for the sake of it. I'd feel as if I was being a fraud... I'll just stick with what I've got.
Thank you for the fascinating tour. I long for a sewing room! I have to use the dining room table and it’s such a pain having to keep tidying up after each session. Well done for resisting the promotion offers. I get a bit fed up when my favourite channels do that as I don’t have the money for these things. I love your chair and sewing machine. I recently got a vintage Singer featherweight and it’s fabulous!

Hello Marion, thank you for sharing your wonderful warm carft room , it is such a privilege. It gives such a enjoy , and like one big hug 🤗 ❤. You are incredible xx
Such a privilege to visit your delightful sewing space. You are so real and I admire your commitment to staying authentic. Why indeed would you swap your beautiful Bernina for something new but no better. And your Frankenchair cannot be replaced. Stay just as you are doing just what you do.
Your work space is simply beautiful! I don't think I have ever seen a room that is as much a reflection of it's owners soul as this one. Thank you for sharing it.
Bless you Marion, you are an absolute delight to watch and learn from. Your room is cosy and inspiring just like you. Thank you for all the time you spend making videos, you make alot of people including me very happy xxx

Thank you for showing your work space. One really sees how your art permeates every bit of you and your surroundings. Your created stitching/ painting space is a piece of art of its own. I imagine how happy you are to spend time in your lovely, inspired and inspiring room.
Your room is my fantasy. I rent an apartment and I dream of having a house with a room that I can have all of my beautiful treasures out in the open to appreciate daily. For now I’ll just spend time with you in your room.

Thanks so much Gillian. It's been an experience I would never have thought I'd have. All these years I could have been doing something like this, but I never thought anyone would have been interested!
Hello Dear Marion. You are so authentic to your self! I just find you so interesting to listen to and learn from. You are an inspiration to us all. I totally agree about thrifting as I have to remind myself to not over purchase all the goodies.
Thank you, Marion, for the newest tour of your magical sewing and craft room. I love how you store everything in it making it special and beautiful (and no plastic 😊). Your awesome raven looks fantastic over your beautifully painted meadow. Love it! You are an incredibly talented lady. Thank you for sharing some of it with us. Peace, joy and happiness to you always.
I loved this tour. You have inspired me to get started on my current ’junk’ room (which ended up being a work room storage room while we renovated the house). Renovations have slowed and it is high time to address the clutter and set up my art room. (I turned a bedroom into a sewing room when I realized I was keeping an extra bedroom for once a year visits from grown children. They can sleep on a pull out!) I LOVE the chest of drawers painted. Your grief turned to beauty. Thank you for inviting us in to share your little bit of heaven.
Just LOVE your sewing room. It’s a cozy, comforting, magical space. I’m sure there are tons of beautiful memories in it. I especially love your Frankenchair. I have learned a lot from you in the few months I have been following; you truly an inspiration. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful world.
I love your videos Marion. Thank you for sharing your creativity and time with us all. I find your company so relaxing and calming, and always inspirational. ❤
I love and collect the same types of “lovelies” that you shared. I have done that for years and they still bring joy to my life. I will soon be moving from the country to town as I am getting old enough that my children want me to be there and, though I will miss the country, it is probably the right thing to do. My children are not collectors so they are hoping that I will rit out things. I am doing some as I do have too much, especially since I took up quilting and have bought lots of fabric. I will have a dedicated sewing room that is not huge but it will be so nice to have all of my sewing in there. I love your paintings and the Viking is fabulous! So many wonderful memories and creating in your makes. Thank you so much for sharing all of them with us .
Love your sewing room. It is how I would love mine to look if I was lucky enough to have one 😢. I agree that it is lovely to surround yourself with pretty and eccentric storage items .Your room looks lovely and cosy to sit in and inspiring to get creative. I did have a lump in my throat when you mentioned that you distracted yourself from a sad time by painting your wall and draws and staying up all night to do it. But you just went with what felt right for you. They both look lovely and your such a talented artist. You turned your sadness into beautiful art work. Thanks for the interesting tour and take care.
Your sewing room is wonderful and so full of your crafting adventures and imagination. Thank you for giving a tour of your fun space. I am glad you have painting to help you with tough times. ❤ A tour of you doll house and mini crochet would be lovely.
Marion thank you so much for another excellent video - I’ve been a subscriber for quite a while now and you never fail to inspire and encourage. It’s so refreshing as well to find someone with as many followers as yourself resisting the temptation to become an ‘enabler’ by promoting products on behalf of big companies - but instead being true to yourself and your established ways of working. You bring a breath of fresh air which is so helpful in a time when we can be overwhelmed by being constantly urged to get the next new thing. Your gifting as a maker and your encouragement to this ‘community’ is a treasure.
Thanks Dawn. Everyone has to make decisions based on their own circumstances . But however lovely it is to be offered things for free..in the end they're only doing it because they want more sales. Even though I'd definitely like to be able to earn the money I just can't do that when my whole outlook is to say be happy with what you have. It's the same reason I haven't got shopping links either. ( Well..other than my Green Man bag of course 😊) Big businesses have plenty of outlets without needing me to do the work for them...
@@marionsworld24I agree - plus I expect promoting company products would come with pressures of its own and may take your channel in a different direction - you give so much pleasure to so many I’m sure you’ll reap rewards that are beyond price!
I really enjoy seeing someone else's "piece of heaven". Your creativity just shines in your crafting room and it's a joy to behold. I, too, like to have my stuff out where I can see it and lay my hands on it....unless, of course, it's buried under even MORE stuff! I went on a fabric diet in 2021 and ended up buying fabric only once that year. I plan to try doing that again in 2025, but it can be sooooo difficult! I "ooohed" out loud at your painted window by Eric. It is so lovely and just perfect. I love the way he looks out over the seas. Please show us the Raven's tableau once you feel it's ready. That is going to be wonderful. Thank you again for sharing your crafting space. I'd love to work in there vs. a magazine photo-shoot ready space!
I really only buy new fabric once a year as well. I go to the Sewing for Pleasure show in March and usually I have something I think I'm looking for. Although I still haven't made things with the fabric I got this year yet!
The painting you do on furniture makes for a truly magical space. I also love storing things in tins and boxes and jars. Which is not to say there's no plastic in my sewing room. What I have works for me, just as you said. Your home is a reflection of your lovely spirit.
Love your sewing room, it’s a lot like my room, surrounded by things that I love. Sometimes I need to purge but I don’t like to move too many things because I forget where I put things. I store in hat boxes and pretty can, and I use some milk glass trays and containers. My happy place, thank you for sharing.🧵🪡♥️
Marion, I enjoyed your last tour of your craft room and I’ve again enjoyed visiting your creative area. Very inspiring and comfortable. I love the painting on the cupboard. The mouse is so cute. And the painting on the chest of drawers! You’re so right, the most important thing is enjoying yourself. Thank you for sharing again
Hello Marion, it's my first time I'm writing, but I do love watching your videos. You are so talented, I hope that you keep sharing them with us. Please don't throw anything away, give them to someone who would treasure them, someone who likes embroidering. or crafting, etc. As they say 'One man.'s trash, is another man's treasure.
Well that was fun! Thank you for letting us in to your enchanting craft room. It is obviously is a place where much magic happens. I'm in the process of redoing mine, which is just a little smaller than yours, so that I can share it with my wee grand daughter when she comes to stay. Lots of great inspiration!
Having just moved into my first crafting room and started to try to arrange things how I like them, this is absolutely the kind of room I'd love to have some day, full of interesting and beautiful things, and so clearly loved. Thank you for sharing ❤
Dear Marion! What a lovely and fairy place you’ve made! I’m absolutely amazed by your ships, a crow and other toys! May I ask you a favour? Please , give us a tutorial for making toys! Not just Teddy bears but such unusual and creative that you ‘ve made already? For me it would be a treat! And I’m sure not only for me…❤
What a lovely and inspiring creative space! Thank you so much for the tour - it’s beautifully filled with all the creativity that we love you for. Marion’s World is divine!
Such a fabulous dreamy sewing space❤❤❤I adore your style, all the historic bits, the painted furniture. Gorgeous!!!!!💝🌸🥰Thanks for sharing!!!! I could spend hours just looking at everything!!
What a lovely room where every little thing has a creative purpose or meaning! Rooms like this are so consoling, inspiring and just necessary in our lives. I also love your painting by the way. Have a lovely day🍀💖
Love your tour and seeing the changes. I agree with your sewing machine and chair sentiments. Why promote something to get it free when you don’t need it and you love what you have. I adore your painted murals and the mouse is adorable!
Thanks Carolyn. I think it can be difficult not to get drawn into all that... And at different times of my life I might have made a different decision.. but I don't need excess things anymore... even if they're for free...
I really respect your decision not to endorse new products when what you have works for you. I thrift 95% of my fabrics and notions and that works for me. I also have collections of various things that bring me joy and I love the way you display your treasures. I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. I was widowed at 27 and it eventually does get better with time. Hugs to you.
I totally agree with you regarding plastic containers. I don't use any. I have old and vintage boxes and cases. I even like to get old tools whenever possible. Lovely to see your space. Thanks.
Envy is supposedly a 'deadly' sin....but your lovely space with all that natural light does cause me to be green... Marion's World is such a treasure, thanks for sharing
Thanks for the tour of your "happy place" Marion. We all need such a beautiful place to create and admire our little treasures. I also love a wide range of crafts so many areas are dedicated to different things. Old tins from chocolates or biscuits are the best storage- though I label all of mine. Happy times.👏♥️🇦🇺
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful inspiring space. You are a true artist and I love that you surround yourself with your creations. Just delightful ❤
Well I loved that tour of your magical room where all the magic happens. You really are a marvel Marion. I did wonder how you got everything done and if you ever went to sleep and now you’ve let the cat out of the bag when you showed us your lovely painted poppy drawers. I will have to take your inspiration because I’m tired of rummaging and searching for bits and pieces before I can start a new project! Thank you for sharing and spending so much time with us all who love to see you.❤
I often just stay up all night sewing. It actually started when the children were small. I ran a wedding cake business and used to start making sugar flowers after they went to bed. If I had a lot to do I just used to put some music on and keep going!
@@marionsworld24 goodness me Marion even more strings to your bow with the wedding cakes, the gardening business and now YouTubing too. There is no end to your many talents and I’m so pleased you share them all willingly xx
Love your sewing room. Mine too is small and also serves as the guest room. I love a cozy sewing space. Your sewing room looks very happy and peaceful. Thank you for sharing your space!
I can really only echo the love and admiration that others have expressed so eloquently. Your room is exquisite and magical. Turning your pain into creativity is inspirational. I am honoured to be a tiny part of Marion’s World. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
You are such a beautiful artist. Thank you for another great visit with you. To people out there who do not have this space, make a small table or corner work for you, and don't give up!
Good morning Marion, thank you for your response. Of course, I forgot that Wendy is your sister and yes, I did watch you both during your trip having an aboslutely lovely time together. I trust you are well and slowly getting prepared for colder months ahead but no doubt you will have a cosy time in sewing room during your winter months. We are into our spring season here although temperature has dropped again to 4degrees overnight. Thank you Marion and blessings to you as always. Thelma ❤
OMG Marion! I love it all! That Viking, on a ship, in front of a painted window; your beautiful paintings, collections and textile art! Too many wonderful things to comment on all of them. I also have an old beloved Bernina, so yes to that and your super cool Frankinchair! Of course you want to surround yourself with the things that bring you joy! You have curated and created a wonderful creative space and I am grateful for the way you genuinely welcome us into this magical world. I also enjoy reading the comments here. You have created a lovely community here and I feel like you are all my people.♥💐😊
Thank you so much for showing us your absolutely creative space. It is such an individual extension of your personality, with special memories for you. What a magical cave and place of peace for you to remember each item you have lovingly kept for a reason. Thankyou once again for sharing your life and skills with us who watch with awe .
Thank you for showing us around your space. As expected, it was absolutely magical. I don’t live in a space where I can decorate, but if I ever get another sewing room, believe me it will happen.
Thank you for sharing your happy place with us Marion. It's a beautiful room! Your creativity shines in every corner. The love of your craft and your things are in perfect display. I understand the restrain needed when you're a collector. I'm also a collector of old sewing things, including toy sewing machines. I only have "safe" things on display, because my grandson is 35 months old and likes to play with everything. Thank you for being so generous with your talent and your time. I love visiting Marion's World! ❤
I have sent the link for this video to two of my daughters as I thinking that they will find it inspiring. It's wonderful in that room! Thanks a million for showing us around.
Oh my gosh Marion, your stitching heaven is like walking into a treasure chest! So fun and so inspiring! I also just did a little reorganization in my sewing room and found things that I forgot about! 😂😂 Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day! ❤❤❤❤
I love all the personal touches. I used to not to want to put my pieces on display but looking at your room, I realise my craft room/dinning room should reflect me - and what I have found joy making. Your painting on walls, windows and furniture are just a delight. A lovely space which beautifully reflects you and your personality.
Thank you so much Marion for sharing your personal, creative space! The area where all your beautiful pieces of art are created!! You truly are an inspiration to me!!❤
Ohmagosh. Nothing I say will properly express how beautiful every single thing is and how unbelievably talented you are. I didn't know you were such a magnificent painter. And the bird amd ships!!!!!! Are there tutorials for those?! Incredible. Truly incredible. What an ethereal place.❤ I just set myself up a workshop. I finally acquired old bookcases for all my tins and boxes. I'm also adamant I keep the plastic containers to an absolute minimum. I use old boxes from orders and cover them with paper or magazine clippings. I just redid an old pocket knife wooden box of my father's for my silk threads. It's beautiful on the shelf.
That's exactly the way Emily! I used to have cardboard boxes covered with fabric, with old shirts, whatever I had to cover them with. Then as I saw old boxes I got them if they weren't expensive and started just to swap the cardboard ones out... It takes time but It's lovely when you find something that's perfect for what you have to put in it.
What a wonderful and creative room ❤ And I love that you are using an old Bernina 🥰 My mother had one exectly like yours and it "lived" for about 60 years ❤ Thank you for letting me visit your lovely room 🌹💞

Thank you. I want to keep true to myself even though it would have been quite nice to have the new things. When I look at what I have made I wouldn't swap them...
"What I think of as my 'fancy' fabric " Lol. I love your sewing space!. The colors and textures sing Marion, as we look around your creative space. ( I, too, call a few pieces my "fancy" fabric.)
Seeing your sewing room gave me the inspiration to fix mine up to be a space I loved to be in. I have more of a sewing area in the corner of the living room. I hadn't been doing many projects due to a lack of inspiration. I love my space now and doing projects again. Thanks for the inspiration. 😊
That's wonderful. I'm lucky to have a room to play in, but I used to just have the dining table where I cleared everything away each day and everything lived in plastic boxes in the bedrooms. This room now has been evolving over the past 15 years or so.
Thank you Marion! Just loved this tour and simply enjoyed how your imagination takes form in each and everything we see in your room. Love your viking ship and Eric. My grandmum was Norwegian ..so its a lovely reminder to look at! Most inspiring for me...thanks so much! Marion..your room and you, are soo healing to seexand hear. Wishing you joy, always.

( Well..other than my Green Man bag of course 😊)
Big businesses have plenty of outlets without needing me to do the work for them...
I couldn’t imagine your room being any other way Marion, it’s a beautiful haven of creativity 💕
The painting you do on furniture makes for a truly magical space. I also love storing things in tins and boxes and jars. Which is not to say there's no plastic in my sewing room. What I have works for me, just as you said. Your home is a reflection of your lovely spirit.
We each just try to do our best however we can...
Marion you are a wonderful person, I can feel so much love in what you do. Thank you 😊
Love your sewing room, it’s a lot like my room, surrounded by things that I love.
Oh they won't be thrown away! I'll try and share them with you all 😊
Well that was fun!
💐
Such a beautiful sew room it's like a treasure chest
“Old stuff” but truly precious keepsakes that you can make into new things. Thanks for showing your happy space.
And I’m sure not only for me…❤
It's definitely something that's on my list of things for next year... Also I've been meaning to make a doll too!
I like your art room, so many wonderful treasures to see, a room I would love to sit in and slowly look around and enjoy. Thank you for sharing.
What a delightful place to be with all your treasures!!❤😊
What a lovely and inspiring creative space! Thank you so much for the tour - it’s beautifully filled with all the creativity that we love you for. Marion’s World is divine!
Such a fabulous dreamy sewing space❤❤❤I adore your style, all the historic bits, the painted furniture. Gorgeous!!!!!💝🌸🥰Thanks for sharing!!!! I could spend hours just looking at everything!!
😊💐
Your creative space is exactly as eclectic and fascinating as I'd expect from you.
Your Franken chair. It’s so beautiful.
Thank you so much.💐
I totally agree with you regarding plastic containers.
I love a Sunday, when your video drops! ❤ Thank you for sharing. You're at 38.3k! I'm willing for 40k to happen 🙏
Fingers crossed! :)
Your craft room is unique, creative and beautiful - just like you!
Thank you! 😊
The mural is wonderful, Marion! And the waves on the window, and the painted dresser! Marion's World is beautiful. ❤❤❤
☺️💐🌿🖌️🪡🧵🌸
You have many beautiful hand made pieces in your craft room. You are very talented. The Raven & ships are breathtaking ❤
🐦
You are definitely a natural and very talented artist! You can do anything you want with great success! So very interesting and amazing.
I can really only echo the love and admiration that others have expressed so eloquently. Your room is exquisite and magical. Turning your pain into creativity is inspirational. I am honoured to be a tiny part of Marion’s World. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
💐
You are such a beautiful artist. Thank you for another great visit with you. To people out there who do not have this space, make a small table or corner work for you, and don't give up!
Absolutely.. I used to use the dining table and cleared up when the children came home and then got things out again when they went to bed..
What an inspiring room for a lovely person.
Thelma ❤
We had our first snow here yesterday! So the fire is one and I'm wrapped up in my woolly skirt and shawl!
You have created a lovely community here and I feel like you are all my people.♥💐😊
The comments and community are the best 😊💐
Thank you so much for showing us your absolutely creative space. It is such an individual extension of your personality, with special memories for you. What a magical cave and place of peace for you to remember each item you have lovingly kept for a reason. Thankyou once again for sharing your life and skills with us who watch with awe .
Thank you for showing us around your space. As expected, it was absolutely magical. I don’t live in a space where I can decorate, but if I ever get another sewing room, believe me it will happen.
I'm lucky that I've always been able to paint as I like. Michael was happy for me to decorate things however I wanted.
What a beautifull room you have,it is all YOU,with your special things in it,it is so inspiration al,you have so many skills,,thank you for showing us
Thank you for sharing your happy place with us Marion. ❤
💐
I have sent the link for this video to two of my daughters as I thinking that they will find it inspiring. It's wonderful in that room! Thanks a million for showing us around.
Thanks for sharing it Helen!
That's it, you've convinced me! I have to sort my buttons by color, how pretty!
☺️
Is there anything you can't do? You amaze me with your artistry and skill, Marion 🥰
There's so much I'd love to learn about!
A magical workroom that is stocked with idears❤enjoy
Oh my gosh Marion, your stitching heaven is like walking into a treasure chest! So fun and so inspiring! I also just did a little reorganization in my sewing room and found things that I forgot about! 😂😂 Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day! ❤❤❤❤
Oh thank you Joanne.
I love all the personal touches. I used to not to want to put my pieces on display but looking at your room, I realise my craft room/dinning room should reflect me - and what I have found joy making. Your painting on walls, windows and furniture are just a delight. A lovely space which beautifully reflects you and your personality.
Definitely.. it's your space. You should display what makes you feel happy and proud too 😊💐
Thank you so much Marion for sharing your personal, creative space! The area where all your beautiful pieces of art are created!! You truly are an inspiration to me!!❤
Thank you Marion, for letting use into your room, its lovely,
Marion, you are a very lovely, interesting, and charming person.
❤🎉 im so glad i found you❤🎉
🌸🌿
Marion, thank you for introducing me to Inktense and your inspirational embroidery. I am hooked.
Wonderful!
Ohmagosh. Nothing I say will properly express how beautiful every single thing is and how unbelievably talented you are. I didn't know you were such a magnificent painter. And the bird amd ships!!!!!! Are there tutorials for those?! Incredible. Truly incredible. What an ethereal place.❤
I just set myself up a workshop.
What a wonderful and creative room ❤
And I love that you are using an old Bernina 🥰 My mother had one exectly like yours and it "lived" for about 60 years ❤
Thank you for letting me visit your lovely room 🌹💞
Mine is from 1959.. it's the same age as I am 😂
I LOVE your craft room. All the neat little trinkets and the coziness. I’m changing my craft room and I’m going to use some of your ideas. I so look forward to all your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your world with all of us. You are such a talented lady. Blessings. 🥰🪡✂️🧵
Your creative space gives off incredible energy. Very happy. ❤
Beautiful! So glad you keep your Bernina and chair , I respect that you don’t accept things you don’t need.
Thank you. I want to keep true to myself even though it would have been quite nice to have the new things. When I look at what I have made I wouldn't swap them...
Your sewing room is enchanting!! So delightful!!! Thank you for sharing!!❤
💐
Oh Marion thank you for the tour. You have an amazing creative space. A life time of collecting special items to fill any kind of creative need. Everything displayed so beautifully. Piece, Linda
💐🌿
That's a gorgeous room full of beautiful things. I'm just glad I don't have to do the dusting!
Oh, oh oh, Marion! I love your room! I can hardly wait until you make the mouse from fabric!! I have been in love with anthropomorphic mice and birds since I saw Cinderella as a youngster… I still am! Thank you for everything!!💕Donna
I think the mouse will be the first but I also have been wanting to make a fox too.
@marionsworld24
We will delight in the anticipation, then watch enthralled as you bring yet another creative work to life.
I can hardly wait to see something else come to life from Marion's world!
Marion, your stitching heaven is fantastic. The raven and your boat sculptures are amazing. You are so creative.
Glad you like them Glennis
Marion's World ❤and what a world it is. It brings peacefulness just seeing it. No frills, just down to earth crafting and sewing. A place to sit and dream in! Love , love, love your ships. I will ck your vids to see if you have shown how to do, but I would love to make one! Thank you for showing us your dreamworld!❤❤❤❤❤❤
There's no ship tutorial as yet but I've been meaning to make one for a while.. ⛵

Marion,
Your stitching room is filled with love and memories…..especially Michael’s chair and desk. He is not far away.
