the marine soundtrack does a good job reflecting how it feels to play as one, you have little to no advantage over both of your opponents, and no matter how often you play you are never sure if you are going to live, i dont get this feeling playing as a marine on AVP 2010, being able to kung fu creatures that jump several stories high and can pick you up like paper takes that away.
@@lu16ck Something that I always disliked is the fact that they need to nerf the Marines. In the film, despite the fact that they had lower numbers, they kicked ass. They nerf their tech too. In the movie, they had thermal sights mounted on their helmets. Nowhere to be seen in AvP games, they give them cheesy 80's era grainy Nvg's instead (Just the flashlight in the 2010 game, which is worse 😅)
There's a reason why your name is "Deadmeat" If your not typing your own name when playing as a marine. Cause you're freaking dead if you dare to stand up against these savage beasts as a human.
@AngeCord the lack of battle music initiating meant you were always on edge and never knew when aliens would spawn, not to mention the blips on the motion tracker that would just dissapear....they simply dont make games that good anymore :(

I've only played the demo (that game is HARD to find these days). It seems to re-use music from this game, although I may be wrong about that.
GOG made a version that runs on modern PC's , you just need to buy/download it from GOG/other site , and it works just fine :)
This track reminds me of Turok. Awesomly fitting for the mood of the game.
