- Giftedness can lead to ruin 🗡️
HERE'S HOW:
Ask God to help you accept your gifts with gratitude and ask someone else what they see in your character. Then, when you experience moments of discontent or envy or lust in your day, surrender it to God. Pray God, help me surrender my giftedness and grow my character instead.
Become New is here to help you grow spiritually one day at a time.

Great topic. God help us to grow our character so we can safely use our gifts for Your glory only. ❤
So true, but it can be so difficult to stay with the confidence of our testimony and not do the human thing and bleed over into ego! It's all part of the daily walk, to stay in line with God's purpose for us and to be used as His vessel! Thank you, Eileen!

Please continue printing the notes! I listen to John first and next read the notes and take notes. Wonderful, wonderful teaching always. God bless your giftedness!
Thank you! Will do! Thanks for watching and sharing with us, Jeanne!

Yay... I finished today's assignment even before I watched today's lesson. I looked at and enjoyed someone else's giftedness and character. Father's Day is two days from now. My son, in his 30s, bought me breakfast today as a pre-Father's Day treat. While we were talking about the family getting together on Sunday, he told me something he said to two go-workers in their golden years. Neither co-worker has any children. I don't know how the topic of Father's Day came up at my son's workplace, but in separate conversations, he told each of his co-workers that they would make good fathers. He said they were both grateful and felt complimented. I responded that being a father is not easy and that I have made mistakes. However, I told my son that I was proud of him saying something so kind and meaningful to his co-workers. I got a chance today to look at enjoy my son's giftedness and character... what a great Father's Day gift.
Such a beautiful thoughtful blessing your son was able to bestow with his coworkers - and now their stories are woven together. To watch and look at your son's character and giftedness is indeed a priceless Father's Day Blessing Bucky
To rejoice in the gifts God has given to others and to accept my own with gratitude
Yes! Thanks for sharing with us. - Brad
Just cut to it and hit us in the ugly spots, John. Whew, this message of self-examination is so necessary. May we hear and be open to considering the truth of it for OURSELVES. BN makes life better. Thank you John and team.
Thank you for sharing the path with us, Ginger, we appreciate you!

I watched this video three times. Powerful teaching for my life!
Thank you for being part of our Become New Community Bucky
So powerful! The Lord spoke to me about giftedness and character many years ago...such a timely reminder. Thanks John!
You are so welcome, we all need reminders from time to time!

Such big and beautiful and powerful ideas today…redemption not reinvention. 1. Thank God for my gifts. 2. Celebrate your gifts. And watch God bring resurrection from ruin. So good. Thank you BN Team. 👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️
Such a beautiful response. Isn't resurrection from ruin the most remarkable truth?! - Brad
Powerful. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, Ariel!
Rob
Love story not of reinvention but redemption!
That was my favorite part, too! Thanks, Lindsay!

Wow!
Thank you for watching, Larry!

I do not like to think of myself as gifted. I really have a hard time figuring out my gifts, other than caring for others. I much prefer appreciating the gifts of others ❤
God has given all of us gifts in one way or another - it is beautiful how can see and appreciate the gifting in others Bucky
Thank you!❤
You're welcome 😊!

All the reading takes away from the message. I can read. I miss John just speaking and not constantly reading
I can appreciate what you are saying. However, I do not have the time or resources to look up and read all the references John brings into these messages, so I appreciate him reading rather than only referencing them.
We try to strike a balance for those that don't have the time to look up all the reference materials and scripture. Thank you for following, Mark, be blessed!

Thank you, Mary!
