Multi Chapter Questions | 5 Minute Chemistry | Shishir Mittal | SM Sir
A very warm good morning ...
The answer for first question is 2.
Reason : The reaction 2NO2 N2O4 proceeds forward on decrease in volume and increase in pressure. Thus the total number of moles decrease. Therefore, it should have a greater decrease in volume to ensure difference of (rho)gh between upper and lower chambers.
The answer for second question is both will have same length. Since lower container is broken, the pressure there is Patm. Thus both air columns must have pressure Patm - (rho)gh, thus ensuring same length.

@@ishaanagarwal5547 good bro kitne no. Main aa gyi bhai yeh percentile bhai
very conceptual question
First question ans is 2 due to dimerization of NO2
For second question it's true that mercury comes down more in 2' compared to its initial vertical situation but finally both systems become same so final length of N2 is equal in both..
sir aap great he kyonki aap hamare comments padke reply dethe ho
where can anyone found such an interactive in in this pandemic time of covid
A 2
B 2
Sir initially both the gases should have the same number of moles as the pressure in both the tubes is equal and the length of the column.
Later due to dimerization of NO 2 its number of moles must decrease and the volume as well and the weight of No2 starts acting as well so the length falls down
Thank You sir, Ans A,C
A 2 because No2 dimerization lead to heat levirate if volume is decrease temp of bottom decrease due which le chateler principal work react go faster and n2o4 quantity increase less pressure and in second 2 again because air in both no further change
A) 2 and for second question why will lengths differ sir. Both the conditions 2 and 2' will have same conditions. Both will have atmospheric pressure at the bottom end and hence it shouldn't differ.
1. L increases more n2 as molecular wt of n2 is less
2. Both cases l equal as both are at 1 atm
Answer for question 1 should be A(2). And in the second question lenth of air column will be same for both
Firstly length will be more in no2 tube because no2 will dimerize and after breaking both will have same length
Very good question thanks sir,,, my answer was correct
What a lovely question to start your day
Could you please extend the validity of the organic course?
Sir, in (a) why didn't we consider the expansion of air on heating?
Sir i think only B option would be correct. The length of air column would be same in 2 and 2' in the second case.
A warm good morning sir
Answer will be 2 and 2'
Because in first case when NO2 will dimerize it's mole will decrease which cause decrease in volume and Hg will fall more than 2' while in 2' N2 remains same as it was before
For 2nd case:
I'm taking help from 1st case here since in 1st Hg of 2 is below as compare to 2' and both 2 and 2' will have same pressure in bottom so if we now break it then the excess amount of gas will be out from both ends to make pressure 1atm but the amount of released N2 will be greater than that of NO2 because in previous N2 has greater volume as compare to N02 that's why Hg will fall more in 2'
I think 2' in first part of question because number of moles decreases as no2 dimrises and when up put it upside down volume decreases due to pressure exerted by mercury so according to li chat shifts reaction backward.this don't happend with n2 wala case.
In 2nd same length.
May be it's is wrong .but this is my design.
Good morning sir
Please discuss 5 minute on thermodynamic property of ideal and non-ideal solution...
2' and 2/B and C
Nice
Yes sir I got it correct
The ans for first answer is (A) 2
The ans of sec. Answer is (C) 2
A&D (2&2')
In first case it should be 2 & in second should be 2'
Sir, I got that correct
Sir please start a telegram or whatsapp group where you can upload important concept notes and questions
Yess why not please sir open one
In first part option A is write and in the second part option B is correct
A(2) and D(2')
Good Morning Sir , Mast question tha , Thank You
(A),
I think the lengths will be equal in 2nd question.
(A)2. and (D)2'
Sir could u bring some questions on bond angles and bond lengths
answer --A&D
Sir please Switch ON your Ads option in TH-cam studio so that your channel gets Ad
Answer of the last question B,C
Sir in part D won't the entire hg slide out?
According to me as in hw ques 2' case is of air v/s air(N2) therefore even after tilting tube length of Hg will be equal while in 2 as per last ques length will increase.
And when it is broken 2' will have max length
Where to get ans on your website
A and C
Sir thermodynamics chemical kinetics
B)2' & D)2'

Good morning sir
Sir in first part of question option A is right according to me and in second part of question length will be same for both.
A and D
Sir please take 30 min problem solving session daily
Today's ans of 5 min chemistry-
1) NO2 ( more weight) both..
I got it correct
2’ sir
B AND C
First mai 2 and second mai dono same lenght badhenge
B-2' in first and same in second
I got that correct
First case 2dash or B and second case me 2 or C hai
2' and 2' i.e. (B) and (D)
Hum visit karte hai vyad edification but answer humko nhi mil pata haii plzzz anyone help
Hw ques: first one A
Reason( as per me)
Since the equilibrium is established the gas can dimerize into n204 and since v is proportional to n in this condition the volume is lowered too which increases length in air column
Ques 2: i am not confident about this one because i feel that as soon as we open the test tube the final length should be the same as it is an open system
Edit: dhokaaaa
A)2 and
A and c=d
NO2 takatak N2O4
2
2 b
A&D
A
In 1st case
Length of air in 2>2'
In 2nd case
Length of air in 2'>2
Edit:2nd one wrong hai.
Answer of first question according to me is A,B and D
Edit:- A is wrong
2nd question 1st part:- B
2nd part:- C
Edit:- both gone wrong
1 ka 2' and 2 ka 2'
