Pretty sure that Darth Vader is from his attack on the rebels in Star Wars rogue one. Based on how the lighting is, he is in a dark room with his light saber ignited. And where else was there a lot of smoke surrounding him
Tbh I’m very disappointed they didn’t have any Disney sodas! I’m mostly a soda collector and I was hoping to see more sodas!
So we were! Definitely a missed opportunity not releasing another soda with a chase

Although I don’t collect jumbo sized pops, I’m hoping to grab the Arceus one so it can join my Pokemon pops collection. I wish it were a 4inch or even 6inch, but I still see it as appropriate that the god of all Pokemon is big.
Another one I’m hoping to get is the LE 3000 Zero only because it’s GITD (I love glow pops 😅)…don’t care at all for the non-glow so I’m crossing my fingers I get lucky with the lottery.

Unfortunately there is a lot of passes for this years SDCC, not that there isn’t some great pops, but like you they just don’t fit in my current collection. The franny is incredible and finally the mayor Freddy. But maybe all the saved money from not buying any pops can go on a 2nd box of fun. And yes that diamond thrawn definitely doesn’t do it. Massive fan of the combined logo on that Batman superman fusion.
I’ll try for all the original Funko characters and the wicked witch. Everything else was kinda lacking. There definitely should’ve been more sodas.
That Proto is amazing, definitely gotta pick that one up!

I will say I do like the anime but the only one I'm really excited about is the scented sugar for sure. The Gojo one is actually a maybe for me. Nate likes that spider-boy a lot too! And nice job on the anime pronunciation john ahahaha

Everything was a pass for me this SDCC
As a majority Marvel and Spidey collector, Spider-Boy would be the only one I would possibly be getting, but as much as I love Spider variants, there are sooo many villains and other characters of Spider-man they have not made in POP form!
Pass on everything, except Sinister and proto! Great video!

Some great pieces this year and some 'not so' great, but there will always be weaker ones.
Is the Franny & Proto a two pack? Strange how they were together in the glam shot.
My 'Smash' list is;
Marvin, Flame Wingman, Mr Sinister, Spider Boy & the 2 freddy sodas. Not forgetting the box of fun, I'll be grabbing one of those.

There are a few Pops that we intend to get from this one, the main one that is a must have is Lord Soth! He is a Death Knight from the Dragonlance Novels and he looks amazing. Have a great day you two.
A lot of great ones, Smash for me: snoopy, wicked witch, wednesday, sugar, Freddy Sodas and Bittys. I am still deciding on Baymax and Edna. 😊 Shinobu they have done in the past but it sold out super fast and many missed out, I think this one will sell out fast. I saw on Funko Europe they are not releasing everything at once though, very odd 😕
Henry/Vecna, depending on the actual look of the pop ( that glam is terrible) and Elmo with Rocco, are the only ones I'm interested in.
Same with me, I like the old Sesame Street pops. I still need most of them. Smash on the Bitty Freddy, Franny that will be impossible to get and the Freddy sodas.🌹🌹🌸💐🪻

I can kinda see why they would charge 40 for the Wednesday deluxe. 15 x 2 for the two pops and I suppose 10 for the background

I missed seeing Joana, it feels like it’s been a while. This video was great I like the way you guys do these smash or pass videos. I think the con lineup was alright definitely could’ve been better but like John I do appreciate that they are doing more limited stuff

I really enjoyed this episode and hearing you guys’s opinion on SDCC 2024 🥹🫶🏽!!! But yeah, I also give this year’s con a 6/10. The marvel category was a huge miss opportunity. For the marvel funko pops, they should’ve done 1 or 2 funko pops from X-Men ‘97 and Deadpool & Wolverine 😪. But yes, the only funko I would get is Spider-Boy (But I really like Spider-Boy himself, Franny Funko, Proto, & Mayor Freddy 😅). Snoopy, Baymax, & Elmo are cute as well 😅♥️. But overall, I give this year’s SDCC a 6/10 and I feel very empty and far underwhelmed with the releases this year. But yeah, just like Joanna said, I do think they did a great job with covering different lines & liscenses👍🏽. But yeah 😅🥲👍🏽.

I think Wednesday and Franny are only two I will go for. I'm collecting all the Wednesday pops and trying to get all the early Franny but won't go for all of ghe Franny in the future.
