3:49 air superiority in this context is NOT what you need for paratroopers. The bonus referred to here is the penalty/bonus applied to GROUND divisions in combat from air superiority
If u go for Grand Batlle plan doctorine u can take spirit of the army for 35 points that increase special forces cap by 25/20 if I remember correctly. Also giving some bonuses to naval landing (I just forgot name of this spirit but maybe u remember)
Even if they patch it, they still can be wiped out. Even if they had the whole army there. As it is now, France will send units to the UK if you don’t do the low country attacks yet and your naval invasion or airdrop is delayed. I build heavy fighter and get 1500+ before things kick off and can make all my drops
Well that would make them stronger, but special forces cap means you can have less of them. Its a balancing act. For such a small combat width they do allright. I guess i could try to make 2-3 20 combat width and see if they can conquer ports ...
@@antasil5768 yea, i think bigger combat width (more soft attack against 1 enemy div) is needed if you want to throw them straight into the enemy head that is guarding a port or city rather than just to disturb the enemy supplies. at the cost of said lesser division. give it a try
I used as Italy in late 1939 one division (generic template) with 2nd spec forces doctrine (org distrupt). I put those paratroopers straight on heads of one British division on Malta. My paratroopers won and I captured the island. After that I have to say that i really like the new paratrooper mechanics!@@saveriannathan1415

The correct term would be nordic, wich also includes Finland and Iceland

Great Britain needs a patch, they never have troops at home and you can just dumpster them so easily when you naval invade them.
