Price: The 2023 Verna is priced from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan India).
Boot Space: Verna comes with a boot space of 528 liters.
Colors: Hyundai offers it in seven monotones and two dual-tone color options: Titan Grey, Tellurian Brown, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Starry Night, Atlas White with Black roof, and Fiery Red with Black roof.
Engine and Transmission: The sixth-generation Verna gets two petrol engine options: a new 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (160PS/253Nm) mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated unit (115PS/144Nm) paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
Features: Features on board the 2023 Verna include a dual integrated screen setup (including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digitized driver’s display). It also gets an eight-speaker Bose sound system, switchable controls for infotainment and AC, 64-colour ambient lighting, a single-pane sunroof, an air purifier, and ventilated and heated front seats.
Safety: On the safety front, Hyundai is offering the compact sedan with six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and ABS with EBD as standard. Its higher variants also come with electronic stability control (ESC), front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. It also features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as forward-collision warning, blind-spot alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Rivals: The new Verna is a rival to the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.
