CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The Indomitable Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) spend another day in front of the Quick Stop, their designated hang out spot since birth.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
The frequently recurring title characters, employed by writer and director Kevin Smith as supporting players in several of his films, are put to rest with this comedy that focuses on them exclusively. Jay (Jason Mews) and Silent Bob (Smith) are a pair of stoned New Jersey slackers who have long been used as the templates for a pair of popular comic book heroes, Bluntman and Chronic. When they learn that their alter egos are to be turned into a major motion picture without their consent or compensation, the pair sets off for Hollywood to sabotage the production. Along the way, they encounter an ape, a nun (Carrie Fisher), the cast of Scooby-Doo, a Charlie's Angels-style band of sexy women who use them as stool pigeons in a diamond heist, and an unhinged wildlife ranger (Will Ferrell). They also meet up with some regulars from the Smith canon, including Alyssa Jones (Joey Lauren Adams), Brian O'Halloran as Dante Hicks, Jason Lee as Banky Edwards, Alanis Morissette as God, and actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in dual roles as themselves and two other familiar characters. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back co-stars numerous other recognizable performers in roles of various sizes, including Shannen Doherty, Jason Biggs, James Van Der Beek, Shannon Elizabeth, Tracy Morgan, Judd Nelson, Chris Rock, and George Carlin, among others.

At Dragon Con this year I ran into a Jay and Silent Bob hanging out and checking out the costumes. I walked up and asked for a nickle bag, and Jay started singing. One of the best moments of a con I've been to.
Well no one commented
dude that's awesome 😂😂😂
I would have been sooo very happy if Jay started singing "The Time" to me! I would have joined in and it would have made my day! What a great couple of guys those actors are! Thank you for sharing that!
Epic moment fo sho
Mason Bramblett
It’s crazy how much weight Silent Bob has lost since 2001. He’s looking like Tony Stark now or something. haha
"If we were gay, that's the way I'd see it". Damn Randal, that was SAVAGE!!
I know. Huh huh
@@randalgraves6979 So what ever became of Caitlin
Randal is my favorite character besides Jay and Silent Bob and Brodie
I came here just to hear that.
Looks like the honeymoons over
"If you plan to shoplift, let us know, thanks."
that was in clerks
Silent bobs expression when Jay starts rapping "15 bucks little man" is priceless. 😂
Like yeah money! Sweet!
Can't believe you like money too.
"written by God herself" - Never noticed that until now. Nice "Dogma" reference.
I literally just noticed that for the first time right before scrolling down and seeing ur comment
Righteous!
Oh ye
What's the meaning of this referance?
They met God in Dogma and God was a woman
Whoever wrote this script deserves an award!
kevin smith wrote, c'mon
O thatsa joke.
@@Higurashikayeah really
The opening of this scene is the best part and needs to be included.
“Uh excuse me who’s watching these babies?”
“The uh, fat ones watching the little one.”
Oh, way to go, lady; nice parenting.
"Leave 'em out here and see what happens"
Keep on trucking! 😂😂😂😂
Jays moms is hot
Hard to believe that the dude playing Jay almost bailed on the role because he didn't believe in himself. I'm glad Kevin helped him out with that.
Vinny Raptor -
It's good Kevin helped him out. I can't imagine anyone else playing Jay.
I mean he was also struuunnggg out on heroin and other opioids. Kevin Smith saved Jason Mewes’ life, on soooo many occasions. I wish I had the love of a friend Kevin had for Jason
@@HeavenIsEmpty1031 word word.
"Smokin Weed Smokin Weed Doin Coke Drinkin Beers BEERS BEERS BEERS

I smoke that it .movie is great. funny ok
One of my favorite comedies. I can quote this whole movie.
I agree
"Are you even supposed to be here today?" XD
"don't get me started"
Thats a regular customer right there. Knows the employee schedule
Had to rewind that part tree times
"and tubby here's my black man servant" followed by silent bob looking up, confused, is one of the funniest things in cinematic history. This whole film needs to be put into a museum.
I love the continuity between the movies. "Handed down by God herself" makes it so much more amazing
Who smoke the blunts we smoke the blunts
1:05 the real drug dealers in the back lol
Dante: I'm the bitch.
Randal: Well if we were gay that's the way I'd see it!
Dante: Will you shut up!
Classic!
ZackAttack1990 damn they left out
"Oh shit dude, honeymoons over."
😂😂
I always wondered if jay made that marriage rumor up on the spot or kept it in his back pocket to use on them 😂
"..and TUBBY here is my black man-servant"
oh man the first time I heard that I almost choked on my Pepsi.
I love these "Clerks" cameos and references.
"If we were gay that's the way I'd see it." LOL
I learned this rap when i was younger😂😂
Reni Patu can still quote it word for word
This rap lives in my head rent free
"Written by God herself" lmao love the reference.
Dogma
When dose it say it?
@@oasis6342 ат the beginning
I love how Silent Both dances along all happy
Kid on the left looks like Sid Vicious, lol.
That's what I said!
Is this Chris Evans????
This is all 80s 90s and early 2000s generation how they grow up
Agreed. Lmao
I was born in the late 90s and grew up in the early 2000s. Is this a bad thing being a 2000s kid seeing this movie back then?
lmfao, written by God Herself, anyone else catch that? Love Dogma, too!
I have to admit it this is scene along with the song is memorable.
I like Jay's style, its like 70s californian skater hahaha
THE TIME WAS AWESOME
the time sucked ass
That’s what I said
Tha mf time!!
@@SirSmokkeAlot420 that's I felt when COD games were changing into digital futuristic changes when Black ops 2 was coming along.
-I'm the bitch?!
-well if we were gay, that's the way I'd see it
This is probably one of the best movie of all time
Bar none in the top 10 bro lol
Who were the two kid actors in this film, were they extras or actual actors
Agreed 😊
Jay and Silent Bob's guest appearance in The Flash S04E17 brought me here.
Silent Bob is quiet most of the time, only talking when necessary.
Apparently he said something that damaged his relationship with his ex girlfriend, hence why he shows restraint and rarely speaks.
And when on the movie set he explains intellectual property.
Wow, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was an awesome and brilliant comedy film for 2001 and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back along with The Black Hole with Robert Forster and Thomas and the Magic Railroad with Alec Baldwin are the most underappreciated films of all time. I really love Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is one of my absolute favorite Kevin Smith films, the scenes with George Carlin, Carrie Fisher, Shannon Elizabeth, and Chris Rock were all great, and the opening Quick Stop store scene with Jay and Silent Bob was excellent.
I also really like both The Black Hole and Thomas and the Magic Railroad. The Black Hole is a very underrated and good sci-fi Disney film, the best things about The Black Hole were Dr. Hans Reinhardt, Maximilian the Robot, and the John Barry music score, and Thomas and the Magic Railroad was a pretty good film to the Thomas The Tank Engine TV Series. Overall, I always liked Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it was one of Kevin Smith's funniest films, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back as well as The Black Hole 1979 and Thomas and the Magic Railroad are all way much better films than The Dial of Destiny.
"Are you even supposed to be here today" XD When i first watched this is was with friends who had never seen any other Kevin Smith movies so i was laughing my head off at that part and everyone just looked at me confused about what was so funny.
Who knew Jay’s first words when he was young was “F**k”?
Also, nice reference to Dogma.
Rip Prince :'(
Fun fact for all you Disney kids, the kid in the leather jacket played Mitch in Honey We Shrunk Ourselves!
He also shot Stephen Collins in that one episode of "7th Heaven".
IM THE BITCH?!?
This movie and the Clerks movie series LITERALLY makes my day and i cant stop laughing 😂 i would literally cry. Im so happy this exist. Thank you!!!
“If you plan to shoplift, let us know - thanks”
Funny thing is, I remember being a cashier and someone actually asked me if it was ok if he could shoplift, lol I’ll never forget it
The first time I went to the QuickStop I had to smoke a cigarette and sing this! ❤
"Written by God herself."
That's priceless :)
0:52 Silent Bob should think about being a ventriloquist considering his mouth did not move when he talked
One of the best parts of the entire series in my eyes.
I always loved Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. The opening Quick Stop scene with Jay and Silent Bob was my favorite part of this film, the scenes with George Carlin, Carrie Fisher, Shannon Elizabeth, and Chris Rock were all great, and The Fugitive parody scene with Will Ferrell was brilliant. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back along with Ghostbusters 1984 with Bill Murray, Dumb and Dumber with Jim Carrey, Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler, and the first two Harold and Kumar films are my absolute favorite comedy films.
Althought I watched it with Czech dab through my childhood, it feels so great and nostalgic to finally get to the original! It’s funny how close but still almost even more parodic our version sounds! 😅
Jay and Silent Bob crack me up.
😂😂😂
❤ this song
I was just watching that :)))
Whenever someone mentions something is $15, I say the rap lol
Baby Silent Bob is actually Kevin Smiths daughter
Who's smokes the blunts? We smoke the blunts! (I love silent bobs face)
Who smokes the blunts? We smoke the blunts!!!
"Written by God herself..."
Referencing Dogma, where Alanis Morissette played God at the end. Very cute how Kevin Smith has fused all these stories together in the same universe.
The kid in the leather jacket looks like Sid Vicious.
But not even a fraction as cool
@@caesar349 probably cooler if he’s not doing drugs like Sid
0:33 “My Jungle Love!” Jay & Silent Bob jammin’ out to The Time.
So I'm confused. Who smokes the blunts?
We smoke the blunts!
In 2001, Randal must have seemed pretty secure about the video rental business.
The kids face when pressed against the wall: 😆😨
“Are u even supposed to be here today?” “Dont get me started..”
An iconic historic moment in cinema history.
Biehs, biehs, biehs.
So awesome that I moved near the town that movie was filmed in.
Love jay and silent bob
I met him at Comic Con 2 Days ago at Ohio!! :D
the short kid has a pretty deep voice...he is cute...love this movie!
The bigger boy has a deep voice too. This is normal for guys. Not?
Could still watch this everyday! 20/20!
They sing this in clerks 😂 badass
Ive sang this song at least once a month since i first heard it😂😂😂
They were in Scream 3 (2000) when Gale Flipped Jay Off 😅
rolling fattys, smokin blunts. who smoke da blunts? we smoke da blunts? LMAO.
I watch this Every Single Day. Love those guys. Lol
Who smokes the blunts? We smoke the blunts!
$15 for a nick bag? What a robbery
A nickel bag for 15 bucks 😂😂
No I.D for the two pack's of wraps that's how it should be these days lol
Best intro to a movie ever
Amazing movie.. this and American pie symbolizes my childhood
Jeezus Randal Shots Fired Bro
thats a good thing.
Its in the exact spirit of Clerks.
Who smokes blunts? We smoke blunts xD
Fun fact: baby silent bob was actually kevin smith's daughter (Harley Quinn Smith).
"roll-ing blunts and smoking u-"
Randal always there with his words of wisdom.
Derek Hamby lol yep
You know I’m your hero.
It’s good to know after Reboot that those kids went far.
Hey, Look at Jay trying to get down! It looks like my own attempt to be cool.
Yeah hes trying🙂
0:22 eminem in shock 👁️👄👁️
I’ve seen this movie so many times that I know all the words-
I searched it to see if I still remember it correctly...I do.
The dude with the jacket looks like sid vicious.
Here after Jay and Silent Bob Reboot trailer dropped. Hope cocknocker and chaka luther king make a returning cameo.
In Clerks, Randall sorta gave Jay props for being true to himself, but 7 years later I guess even he got sick of him hanging out in front of the store all the time
Cause those two suck.
Silent bob’s lip’s didn’t move when he said purple rain😂
Love this movie
this is the evolution of customgrow420 and harry
Kevin Smith in modern times be like Silent Bob and SHUT UP!!!!
Wow.....no way they could make a movie like this anymore.
They are making another one, so looks like they still can.
Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Clerks 2. Thats all that was needed.
The first Cinematic Universe
“The Motherfuckin Time!” Jay and Silent Bob modeled their whole life on Morris Day and The Time
1:32 thnxs 4 reviving the running gag
I forgot what the gag was can someone give me a quick rundown.
thr running gag was in clerks where dante was at work on his day off throughout the movie and he always said "i'm not even suppost to be here today"
