Backbone, From the Sky, Gift of Guilt, Vacuity, Into the Wilderness, Oroborus, Esoteric Surgery, The Art of Dying, Liquid Fire, Where Dragons Dwell, Global Warming, The Cell, Embrace the World or anything else they have done :)
Gojira live is an experience. There are good bands, BUT, they're hard to find. Even in the 80's it was difficult to find anything worth while. But with bands like Gojira and Jinjer, they gain notoriety through undeniable sheer talent alone
Hello from New England...im New to the channel and I loved seeing you lock into that song the way you did...Btw....That OPETH vid and whole show was recorded at Red Rocks, where it so happens that GOJIRA was on tour with OPETH and DEVIL DRIVER and they recorded their shows at Red Rocks....Glad I came across ur channel....peace from the Northeast
Yes!!!! I call this the "eargasm" song. When I heard this live at Red Rocks I was in total awe.. the way that wall of sound hit you and then surrounded you was powerful and comforting at the same time. There are no words for how dope this shit is!
Kind of amusing that people who have only seen Gojira on youtube think this is a special performance, this is their average fyi. I have seen them 41 times over the years and it's pretty much always like this. Venues may vary but that level of energy and passion does not. Audiences though have been pretty shit in some places.
There is no where the mosh at Red Rocks...unless you want to crack your head open on the concrete stairs or wood panelled rows. I have seen rows of peeps go down like dominos when morons attempt to 'stage dive' through the decline. Hence, the lack of moving in the audience at this performance...
@@gregmarkel9528 Very true! Reading what I wrote it does seem like I'm bashing the audience here which was not my intention. I was thinking of the last time I saw them in my own home country and the audience while loving the music just stood there awkwardly still.
This the last band i saw live july 2019 here in manchester....And they absolutely upped it levels from a year or two earlier. Just simply one of the best bands there is right now....
Bonne réaction oui. Great job. It had been a long time since Silvera indeed. A masterpiece oui oui. So many masterpieces by Gojira. Mario Duplantier (brother of the singer) is the best drummer. Many great songs and amazing live performances. Get ready to be blown away even more. I hope that you'll react more to them. Here are mes suggestions: The gift of guilt live at brixton a academy (eargasmic, melodic) Flying whales live at brixton Academy The heaviest matter of the universe live at Vieilles Charrues The art of dying live Oroborus live aux Eurockéennes Backbone live vieilles charrues 2010 L'enfant sauvage, explosia, Born in winter, stranded, the cell, the shooting star, low lands, Global warming live at the silver cord studio
React to more Gojira man. They're the best band on earth IMO. I advise you to start with stuff from their 'From Mars to Sirius' or 'The Link' albums. However, that doesn't mean the other albums aren't also pure fucking masterpieces.
If you want your head melted, have a go at Remembrance live at The Link Alive. Probably the best metal song/video on the entire youtube. If you want the heaviest breakdown ever, i'd say Clone. (If you have a free hour, just check out the while The Link alive concert, it’s in 2003. Gojira in the old days had the most amazing guitar tone ever) Couple of my favourites Wisdom comes (live Brixton Academy) Remembrance (The Link Alive) Clone (Studio) Ocean planet (Live Rio) A Sight to Behold (Live Vieilles Charrues) Blow me away you (Studio & The link Alive) Love (Live Rio) Space Time (The link alive) Art of Dying (Live Vieilles Charrues) Indians (Live Vieilles Charrues) My last creation (studio)
Gojira the axe. Live brixton academy is a masterpiece. Gift of guilt same show might be one of the greatest song/ show ever. Live brixton academy = Seattle 89 imo
Here is a list of songs by Gojira for you to listen to, they sum up their discography. "Rememberance (live - The Link)", "The Art of Dying", "Esoteric Surgery", "Where Dragons Dwell", "Clone", "Global Warming (Live)" and "Oroborous"
Wasn't Pray wonderful? Just magnificent. "No faith in your world; create my own to thrive!" It's better than the album version. Please react to "Lowlands" ( from the Magma album). It's one of their best.
Gojira is a deep experience. Focus on the lyrics too. It's a journey. Far underrated. They are a band of soul and integrity. Seen them 15 times and have met them. They are just humans doing art well. Go deep bro. Enjoy the journey. BTW, that song is from their last album which was written in remembrance of their mother who passed. The singer and drummer are brothers and they are all friends from way back. Go down the rabbit hole. Be well and be safe.
Yeah they were named Godzilla. Then due to copyright or legal issues anyway they just went ahead and changed it to the way the Japanese sound out the word Godzilla... Ie... Oh no look it's Gojira.
I’m an old school guy who loves the 70’s and some of the 80’s hard rock. Sabbath w/ Ronnie & Ozzy, Zepplin, Rush, Boston, Van Halen, Rainbow, Purple, Dio, Priest, Maiden, etc.,etc. So you know where I’m coming from... To me this was in two words...... Boring & Repetitive. The beginning is the end and the end is right where it started. It goes nowhere and it takes forever to get there. It feels like it’s never going to end. Guitars and Bass are repetitive therefore boring. The drumming is awesome but even that after awhile gets boring because its repetitive. It sounded like instrumental background music in a movie. Vocals... Let’s just say I’m a huge Ronnie Dio fan. Enough said.
Sorry no dragons here.... 🤣 I listen to most of the Bands you mentioned too, big into rush, but when slayer came up i got into thrash and later hardcore. And man try to be open minded or itll be to xour disadvantage As i said been into extreme music for decades... and discovered the beauty of rush or pink floyd just recently... and this works also the ohher way around. If you just dont like it, okay... but tthats your taste, not the Lack of musicianship
@@jensbaumann6945 Exaclty, it's his opinion, cuz Gojira has enough musicianship to make 4 different bands. Plus, their sound changed over the years, but most of the times an old head rocker/metalhead it's too much of a closeminded person, it's a matter of listening to a coulpe more songs from different albums, and if not, keep listening to other stuff and stop complaining about it
Gojira at Red Rocks. Doesn't get much better than that.
I was at this show. Red Rocks is basically in my back yard. One of the best shows I've ever seen hands down
i care to respectfully disagree. the link alive . 2003. might be the tightest heavy metal show ever . THE GOAT
Gojira - The Gift of Guilt (live at Brixton Academy)
It's another masterpiece
Gojira is the hottest band on the planet right now.
Absolutely
Backbone, From the Sky, Gift of Guilt, Vacuity, Into the Wilderness, Oroborus, Esoteric Surgery, The Art of Dying, Liquid Fire, Where Dragons Dwell, Global Warming, The Cell, Embrace the World or anything else they have done :)

Gojira sound so good live...one of my favourite metal bands right now..
gojira one of the few bands where i’d recommend live performance reaction to first timers ..they got so much energy

Such a great song! What a groove, straight during the whole track
Yes!!!! I call this the "eargasm" song. When I heard this live at Red Rocks I was in total awe.. the way that wall of sound hit you and then surrounded you was powerful and comforting at the same time. There are no words for how dope this shit is!
Gojira is definitely one of the modern day greats...They have become my favorite metal band to come out in the 21st Century.
2022 and still here ! Great choice to react at this f*****g piece of brutal art. i'll always be amazed by them.
This band is amazing!! Great reaction brother.
You make me so jealous, what I wouldn't give to be brand new to Gojira! Enjoy having your doors blown off, so stoked for you!
The art of dying is another amazing gojira track. But you can't really go wrong with any songs from them 🤘🤘.

Gojira - Remembrance
Always feels great to hear someone who can appreciate this music. My next gojira suggestion: in the wilderness. All the best man 👍
Hell yeah dude definitely got to check out some of their other tracks. If you liked this banger you should experiment with their sound
Aye, Gojira is special

Try Planned Obsolescence. Criminally underrated song by them. And you won’t be competing against other reaction channels.
Yesss! Or mouth of kala from the same album
React to more Gojira man. They're the best band on earth IMO. I advise you to start with stuff from their 'From Mars to Sirius' or 'The Link' albums. However, that doesn't mean the other albums aren't also pure fucking masterpieces.
The Link Alive is probably my favorite album of all time. This band is exceptional.
The Art of Dying and The Forest are epic too. Mario Duplantier is a metal god on the drums. So groovy.
Great reaction!
More Gojira, Porcupine Tree, Mastodon, Opeth, Ghost
You are spot on about Opeth and Gojira. Another 'newer' quality band to check out is Wintersun.
Just listen to it all. Listen to everything they’ve ever done.
This.
Gojira enough said

It's important for context to know everything after about 5:30 is improvised for the live show.
Glad you liked it. Anything from Gojira, must be live🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻. Thanks again
When they start touring again, please go see them! You will NOT regret it! 😘

The best
Leaders of modern generation metal
Gojira viennent d'une autre planète.
Mario is on fire….🤘
so fucking tight!!!!
I believe they show James Hetfield in the Audience.
I thought it was him but I wasn't too sure. Thats cool to know hes a Gojira fan.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT Hah that's actually not him. But when I first saw the live video it tripped me out cuz he looks so similar
The best live band out there and the only way to experience Gojira or react... Is live
Love your reaction😊 try some Tool
"Axe" live please.
dude, you misspelled the bands name in de video tittle :) Awesome band, gave metal new live and credibility.
Yeah thats the funny part. They just changed it to the Japanese translation of Godzilla so they still get away with calling themselves Godzilla lol.
They changed to the Japanese name of Godzilla , Gojira
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yeah they were named Godzilla. Then due to copyright or legal issues anyway they just went ahead and changed it to the way the Japanese sound out the word Godzilla... Ie... Oh no look it's Gojira.
Gift of guilt live brixton academy
React to Anaal Nathrakh - Endarkenment...
Look do gojira embrace to world live and the devil needs to react to it lol
