Excellent job. Light up everything for safety. A lot of people see a tow vehicle and don’t pay much attention to a trailer. I agree with you . . . you did great.
Glad you like it. I got another video featuring Parts AM lights coming soon.
My motto is "If I can't see you, at least you can see me!" I always add more lights to my trailers. And I've done trailers for family and friends. I solder and use heat shrink on all the wire connections. I run a ground wire to all the lights. I use grommets where wires go thru frame holes to keep the road vibration from cutting into the wires to avoid wires shorting to ground. I install extra wire straps/clamps to hold/support the wires. And I add outer wire sleeves/jackets for protection in areas like an exposed dovetail. I also add the high visibility reflective tape incase something happens that causes the trailer lights to not work. I am an electrician so that's why I do these extra things. I don't like those crimp splice connectors because the internal metal strip will rust up and then lights stop working. I only use those type of connections for emergencies. Your trailer lights look good!
You are correct, and I hate these push crimps. On all my other wiring, I use the heat shrink ones with the solder in them. I hope these will last, but if they don't and I have time, I will solder them.
More lights the better
Great video 😊
I agree, thanks for watching.
Nice video great break down... looks beautiful 🔥🔥
Thanks for the comment!
Hell yea!! I *LOVE* it!!
Thanks!

Thank you 😋 I love it!
Nice trailer setup😎
Thanks.
Awesome video 👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
It looks good I've been wanting to do that to my 16 footer
Thanks, the link is in the Description.
Thank u
Nice 👍
My lights should be here tomorrow 🫶👍
I like it
Thanks!
The trailer looks great Dan ! Next time I ever try those wire taps will put a blob of silicone inside before the pinch... might help. Edit- thanks for the shout outs as well 👍
Not a bad idea. Where were you when I started this project?
It looks good 👍 to me. I got the same trailer 🤣 I'm gonna do mine
Sounds good!
Do these lights work with the 4 pin connectors or only the 8
Template is excellant idea... i would have never thought of that...
Thanks, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. lol
My trailer needs the led treatment, and you can’t have to many lights on a trailer. Mine as been hit at a stop light and I have several friends that’s had trailers hit.
These are really cool looking. Reach out to the company and tell them Dan sent ya!
love it...can you do some on m y trailer
Sure, come on over! Get them at Parts am first.
I don’t understand my set up. The led strobes I got had one wire going to the light. Looks like 14 gauge. Then I open it up and it’s like a 22+ gauge red and ground. How the hell do I tie that into the trailer? Red to the brown and black to the black? Not sure how to connect what seems to be smaller than a 22 gauge to the 14 gauge that’s on my trailer? No audio places locally will do it for me. I’m pretty aggravated because it’s impossible to find any answers on this. Your hot and ground seems like 12 gauge?
The wire may be the hot, and the screws ground it? What is the link to the light? Maybe something online for the wiring?
I thought dot regs- amber lights were for side facing makers only, red is for rearward facing only. No?
Hmmm, I don't know. I never looked it up. Maybe I should?
In my state, the rear side corners can be red and then all the rest have to be amber. His is all red lights from the back of the fenders to the rear of the trailer which isn't that long (4 feet at the most). If he had installed any red lights in front of the fenders, he probably would have been pulled over and given an warning explaining to change the light color.
@@fowlerweb I knew not to put red in front of the fenders. Hopefully if I get pulled over, the cop will be a car guy.
Got a link for the t-fittings?

Looks great, can't wait to do mine. Also remember can't satisfy everyone If they don't like it they don't have to do as many and just not comment negatively but I guess those are the Biden patriots 😂
I hear ya. Thanks!
What size is that trailer?
It is 20 feet long with a 2 foot dovetail at the end. (20 feet total) It is 7 feet wide.
We're do I order those?
