Wow this is too good. I haven't heard this song in forever, but im glad you covered it. Your voice fits this song SOOOOO well. Im imagining I'm walking through the woods and just hearing your voice in the distance singing this song. Its very enchanting. I like that you started off plucking the string and it ended up with your strumming. It was a nice little transition that I didn't catch until my 3rd-4th listen. I cant tell if this is a love song or a folk story. Because it talks about 2 lovers, but also about a tree where a man was hanged.
