Of 15 versions I've heard on TH-cam this is by far the best. The speed, syncopation and accents were absolutely perfect. Loved this, and all done with a big smile.
The anticipation just before 2:00 is something my piano teacher would have enjoyed, the one who taught me Nola. She played piano in a silent movie house in Boston in the 1920's.
I don't see how one could play this piece without smiling. It's just so beautiful, enjoyable to play, all the runs and breaks are satisfying to play... It's just one of the most perfect pieces
Wow! I loved this. Nola has always been one of my favorites, and this arrangement and Mr. Wilson were perfect. I'm a professional piano technician (and solo handbell player), and I thought the piano was perfect for this. Bravo!
Tough piece! That guy may not be perfect but he is very entertaining and fun to watch. He looks like he really is enjoying himself. I'd rather listen to an imperfect performer with a little showmanship than a perfect performer who plays like a machine.

My Grandgirl is named after this song. My son is a pianist. Lovely.
This is the kind of music I grew up with while playing Nintendo games. Thanks for the memories.
Love the smile on his face!

Jake Ellis (my wife's grandfather) was a song salesman in the years after this was composed, and Nola was his biggest money-maker.
Wow, Super Bowl winner and great pianist!
THE BEST VERSION !
very well played, love the variations from the original, intro, varied bass notes etc.
Just exquisite! Thank you!
Luv the tone of that piano and especially Russell's playing of Nola :-)
Good old "Nola". If your piano teacher had you learn this one when you were a kid, I'll bet you also played "Fiddle-Faddle" and "Kitten on the Keys" 😁
Magnifique interprétation, nous voyons que vous aimez jouer et que vous y mettez de l’émotion.

Excellent ,perfect. That sums up my opinion.
The melodic lines reminds me of a tarantella for some reason, I love it !
Impecable ejecución, gran pianista.
Congratulations...!
Nola, composed in 1915 by Felix Arndt, who lived only 29 years. But he is more alive than myself.
Luiz Miranda I believe he died from the Spanish influenza
Thank you Loved it!!!

Don't be a snob. Just enjoy music. Music for everyone to enjoy. So stop being a critic.

I don't know if I like or hate the sound of that piano, it sounds like the hammers are made of plastic...
what's up with his pants
This piece is so insidiously annoying. A must-learn for ever pianist. Yes, we all are crazy!
