Great shot guys. Nothing wrong with accurate composites in my mind. We have to balance weather, the moon and a pivoting plus rotating planet. Get what you can when you can, life is too short not to. Keep up the fantastic work.
This is APOD material right there, what an ASTOUNDING end result!!!!! - the creativity is wonderful :) I always love your videos guys, some of that drone footage was just amazing though, it really added to the production! Clear skies!
What a beautiful picture!! I'm not sure how I came across your channel but I too am from Vegas and I'm just getting into Astrophotography. Im so happy I found you!!! Congrats on a Job well done!
I really liked this video. Interesting, entertaining and inspiring. I'm usually not a huge fan of composites (as in pictures taken at vastly different places/times) myself, but when the artist is up front about it, I don't mind. Your image is either way spectactular, and definitely something that belongs on a wall.
What a great looking image you produced! There's absolutely nothing wrong with a composite. I also got a chuckle out of your commentary, Dalia, especially when you were recording the dune buggies, then remembered you were supposed to be focused on Antoine 😆
Y’all are doing great! My wife and I are roaming about as I also shoot the night sky. Just a suggestion, get a truck. Down the road you can pull a small travel trailer so you and your pretty lady can chill in comfort. Keep it up!
Thank you! We just bought the Jeep a few months ago and it's such a nice upgrade from the small car we had before, now we can sleep in the back and we can get a trailer in the future if we also want
Thank you! Yes the store isn't open yet so there is just a countdown for now and an email sign up for people who want to get notified when it's available
the dunes make an excellent foreground. Wish I had a cool spot around here, but its just crop fields! next month visit the parents in bortle 1 mountains of Montana! my only good milkyway shot came from there last summer!
Nice video guys! I wish you all the success! You do your AP from hot environment and I suffer with camera overheating. I am in Saudi Arabia. Do you have any tips for cooling off the camera?
Thank you! Sadly with a DSLR it's really difficult to get clean images during hot nights (check out our video about imaging M74) and the best thing you can do is save up for a cooled camera which will make a huge difference. For wide field so you could stack images to reduce the noice
Wow! That’s the reward for all the planning and patience that resulted in a beautiful image! Well done both of you 🙂
Thank you very much!
Milky way picture from desert is quite amazing 🔭👍
Yes the dark desert skies are really great 🥰
Great image 💜... Nic drone landing & footages.... Dalia got me laughing 😂❤️
Haha thanks, yes I was laughing too when editing the video

I agree with Luke 100% ! I know right where those dunes are too and they did it JUSTICE.

Wow Bortle 1 Montana skies sounds fantastic! Best of luck!
What an image! If you don’t mind sharing, what was your ISO and exposure settings?
Lucky were we are, no snakes or nasty things, just sheep and cows. LOL
