I think a lot about the children who hung out with the Monkees on the set, back in 1966. I sometimes do, begin to wonder who these children are and how old these children are today? They definitely range from babyhood age to 7 years old. Have there been any children ranging from ages 8 to 17 hanging out with them? They don't know which child is a bad seed. The child actress Patricia McCormick was definitely a bad seed. In spite of the fact that she was definitely demon possessed during the Carefree 50s movement. 😈
Saw Micky and Mike show in St Charles MO, just last month, so touching, incredible show..Mike seemed so happy to be connecting with a highly appreciative audience. He sang from his heart and soul and had beautiful stories to tell. Micky was/is so eternally youthful with that soaring, peerless voice..moving like Jagger and ad libs from heaven Love ❤ you guys forever
It would have limited appeal but I think a well-curated Best of Soundcheck 2017-2021 release would be a perfect farewell. This clip and the “Can’t Judge a Book” clip someone posted are both so fun and joyful and have the real chemistry. They lead me to believe there must be 2LP’s worth of gold (assuming there are soundboard recordings). Now I’m betraying my Deadhead alter ego.

I hope a dvd is eventually sooner than later going to be released from last few years of sound check and concert footage, has to be surely.
