- Early this morning, R32s, Numbers 3682, 3683 , 3648&3445(missing side number-plates), 3840, and 3841, were shoved from 9th Avenue to the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal via the South Brooklyn Railway. This was the first move of two planned for moving a total of 12 cars off the property to be scrapped:-(
In this clip, we are looking east as the train(pushed by NYCTA work diesels #52 and #60), crosses Third Avenue underneath the Gowanus Expressway and passes between the 39th Street off-ramp and the Costco parking lot.

While it’s nice how the Transit Museum managed to preserve a full set, it’s still sad to see the other ones go.

Regarding the number plates; The transit museum may have some for sale but you'd have to check with them. My guess is that the missing plates on this consist were lifted illegally...
