  • Day 2 is now up! - • Lake Ontario fishing! ...
Dad and I took off early Thursday morning heading west! 450 miles west to be exact! We arrived at lake Ontario in time to fish the afternoon. We fished through rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Friday. Then fished half the day Saturday before venturing back to Maine. We were very careful with covid and didn't even rent a hotel room! We closed the pontoon boat in with a tarp and stayed right on the boat the whole time we were there! This is day 1 of the fishing trip. It was incredible! Will be posting day 2 soon! Enjoy!

As a non-fisher and know nothing about the sport, it’s so great to see how much joy it brings you and your father. Also love to see such a strong father-son relationship.

i needed a good belly laugh. i'm glad your dad is ok but the way he bounced off that metal had me in stitches. i hope you both were able to find the humor in it when you edited. hahaha!! great fishing! the river fishing around here has exploded. let me know when youre up to it and i can show you some epic brook trout holes! had a dozen before noon on the fly rod all 3-5 lbs!

Jacob, I just discovered your channel this week. My wife and I traveled to Maine in ‘15 to celebrate our 30th. Fell in love with your beautiful state and all of New England. Just returned last week from our 3rd trip out east. The culture of fishing and outdoor adventures resonates with our family. My son and I are avid fishermen and take an annual trip to Sturgeon Bay WI to fish smallies in the spring. This year the first fish he caught was a new PB at 5lbs 4oz. The next fish I caught 40 minutes later and a new PB for me at 4lbs 9oz. When you and your dad caught those giant browns I could totally relate. We were hooping and hollering like a couple of idiots! 😂 Such great memories with your dad and I know you don’t take them for granted. We don’t take our times together for granted either. Blessings, my friend! Thanks for your content.

Some days you get off to a rough start which can really dampen spirits. I believe a big part of that is being both excited and tired.

If this is day one Bleep, bleep, bleep, bleep, lol ...that was a terrible start alright, It's a wonder your Dad wasn't knocked unconscious, or split his head open, then he tripped on things on the ledge & nearly knocked you in the drink head first, lucky he was able to grab hold of your legs. Seriously I was holding my breath for you & your Dad. When I saw that your Dad was ok only then I cracked up laughing, but poor man I bet had a sore forehead & head & bit bruised from the fall. Weather conditions were really bad for you both too, it all would have to get better, take care both of you please. At least you didn't fly your plane upside down all the way to Ontario.....lol 😂
