Interesting,my mom ( A Kerry Woman) would make a Plain White,Whole Meal and Blackcurrant or Raisen Loaf's& I think she would use Butter and Scones and they would taste wonderful! And the Wholemeal Toasted is gorgeous!👍

8 ozs course brown flour
Tsp. bicarbonate of soda
Tsp. salt
Approx 14 fluid ozs Buttermilk
