I put a bait tank in my boat!!!

- I figured I would give this a test!
In this video I show you the Creek Bank Bait Tank I put into my 18 foot G3 18CCJ jet boat. I had to remove the center seat livewell in order to put the bait tank in the boat. The bait tank is about the same size as the seat was and because I put it parallel to the boat it gave me more room on the sides to move around. We put it to test with some Bluegill, Crawfish, and Goldfish. We even managed to catch a fish!

To make it work with less water, try cutting a shorter length of pvc to swap out with the long piece that the filter box sits on?

Oh I forgot to let you know what you had caught that flat head on!! You caught it on a blue gill!! Both rods to the left of the motor the way we are viewing your video was blue gills!! The one rod with the big bobber had a goldfish on it and the other rod out the side of your boat on the left side was also a goldfish!! So billy since I was the first to comment on your question and being correctly what did I win?? I’m so glad I actually was able to be the first to comment on your question and be right also!! Thanks! It was a really big Bluegill too on a very short leader! I've had such bad luck with my Goldfish that I may try something different with my home tank system one of these days.
That's cool! I have thought about it but I'm not sure I am willing to give up the space.
The livewell chair that came with it was taking up about the same amount of space. I won't add the chair back if I ever remove the tank lol

I would never put something like this in my boat. Of course my boat is only 16’. But i hate everything that takes space. Part of why i dont do much flathead fishing. Dealing with live bait is pain. I will stick to carp :)
I am considering removing it. I would need to patch the hole from where the seat was. I really don't want to put the seat back in either!

Awesome video Billy!! I definitely like the new bait tank or live well that you got there!! My flat bottom boat doesn’t have a live well in it and I’ve been trying to deside weather or not I want to try and make one out of one of my seats that are part of the boat witch I think would definitely be plenty big enough for plenty of fish or if I want to just buy one kinda like the one you got there?? How much does one of those bait tanks or live well that you have narrowed?? Oh my flat bottom is also an older 18’ flat bottom with the square front and not a pointed nose still!! Any info would greatly be appreciated and helpful!! Thanks Billy!!!
These tanks run as high as $700 new. Thankfully I didn't have to buy this one.

It is. The boat is handling it great. I tried this in my 17 foot jet boat and it really bogged it down.
