@@Capt_Billy I am brand new to the area...I am heading to Watts Bar on Saturday and I would like to get some skipjack on the way... could you please maybe give me a specific place to try for skipjack. I am an experienced fisherman but a rookie for catfish.. I'll be fishing from the bank..
@@Capt_Billy Thank you for responding, I really appreciate these how to videos, I guess maybe I'll see if someone has some frozen skipjack. I'm new to the channel and it's a steep learning curve. But I'll get it.
great clip. my fishing rig is everything you have, minus the planner boards and boat. so, I bank fish with a drone, Swell Pro FD3. keep the videos coming
@@Capt_Billy I have just a standard drone and I don't even fly it anymore because of the legal hoops you have to jump through. It almost seems that there are so many laws now that you can't possibly abide by all of them and it's only a matter of time before they find a way to confiscate it. It's a shame.
So I know finally how to you set the length of line from the plain board. Plain boards don't get much actually attach lessons at all.... I guess directions come with the board.?
Most people who use planar boards don't even try to cast. They drop the bait straight down then count the feet before they put the planar board on. I am using line counters reels too.
When you cast your second rod out, I think you lost your bait behind you. You can see it floating past the boat on the left as you move forward. That's why your snagged line didn't have any bait on it!
@@Capt_Billy We used leadcore line for walleyes on Lake Erie on it's easy to use... not gor planers but you can run it straight off the back of the boat and target the perfect depth.
Fishing with billy 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
If you need skip Jack's. The are breaking at Melton hill next to the bluff. Below carbide park.
Yep, the cold water from Norris has pushed them way down to that area. There are a ton of White bass around there too.
I'm new to the area where is carbide park...thank you

It’s in Oak Ridge and called Clark Center Park now. It’s actually closed for the next few days or weeks for repairs.

Very cool! I’ve considered getting one to film with. So much paperwork to do so.

Every planar board brand is different. The ones I use do not attach to braid well. Others have different style clips.
How you liking your Suzie Q outboard motor?
Its very quite and strong enough for my boat!
That looks like Caney Creek if it is My Mom Dad and me caught lots of fish under the bridge at night in a boat .
Yep! I caught a few of my trophy Blue's here too.
Billy the French broad is low and the smallmouth and the walleye are biting great. Not so much for the cats till it's night time
I am hoping to break in my new Okuma rods this weekend! Got bait tonight too!
I'm not pro but 60 ft on on a cast with that much weight dang I use 2 to 5 Oz and with 2 Oz I can cast 60' just Flippin

Fun times!
Don't crappie fishermen call this longlining?
I don’t know. I do know Striper guides that use gizzard shad or artificial baits use them. Possible before catfish guys started doing it.
