Came for the dual Virpil setup video. Stayed for the content! Now, if I only could get the game to run smoothly on my rig (i9 with 3090 car, but still laggy as H)
Should be screaming on that setup. I am running a thread ripper and 2090ti and have never had an issue with keeping 60fps. Little glitching as well. It just gets better every quarter. Hopefully it continues in that direction.

I'm running a 9900k at 5.0ghz all core, 32 GB DDR4 at 3200 cl 14, and a 1080ti, with the game installed on a SSD.
Typically I get around 30-40 FPS at crowded stations, more if the station is remote and there are fewer players around, around 20-30 FPS at large landing zones, 45-55fps in Atmosphere, around 55-60 fps around and inside underground missions and 60-70 FPS in space.
32:9 - 3840 x 1080 is what I typically run the monitor at. Although past a certain point, SC doesn't care because it's mostly CPU bound.
I use a single PC for gaming and streaming.
I've recently tried out the new NIS (Nvidia Image Scaling) in the driver utility to save a little GPU overhead, as well as run OBS as admin to help with resource contention.
I use the integrated GPU on the CPU to use QuickSync to handle the actual video encode.
It does depend a lot on the server and location though.
@@AfterimageFlight Thankyou for details! I must thinker some more with the settings. I tried first at full 5120x1440 but downsized to 3440 x 1440
I also have a 9900 and 64Gb ram and ofc ssd.. and the 3090 card as well..
It can usually play anything I throw at it at max. My problem might be to quote you : "20-30 FPS at large landing zones". I should probably just get out into space and see if the game flows better :-)
@@CrinosAD Yeah, you should get much better performance once you leave one of the major cities with your setup. Unfortunately nobody gets good performance in them right now.

Not usually a fan of scatters but With the redeemers shield hp I can see why it works so well.
