Finally a comparison between traditional scissor boom arms and the LP arms. I currently have a scissor arm (PSA-1) and it's great because I wanted something that wouldn't clutter my desk *and* obstruct my view; problem is the arm when turned would bump into my monitor every so often and I'd have to sorta of turn or really angle the mic (it's a SM7B).
LP arms can come under the monitor or from the side and not be in the way of the monitor!

I attached my boom arm to the back of my desk instead of the front.

Very nice video! I've been looking into this very boom arm recently. I apologize for asking but I was curious if this boom arm would work for an Elgato Wave 1.
