There are no tub. the car is cut and was used as a track car. if yall also dont know. a TON of sfwd have their 16v battery up in the same corner. this is intended to be used as an off road only vehicle. so RELAX, Thanks!

Battery box is my final step in my Insight K swap. I really want the battery up front, but I have very awkward frame rails in this car. Watching you fab helps me plan out a lot after seeing what you come up with!

@@CreamAle The insight has a hexagonal tube for a front structure, at an angle. I've been playing and with "cad" I need to sit down and just do it, or decide to go ahead and do a weight plate now, it's inevitable in the future, not necessary now.

You can slot the hole in the back so all you need to do is loosen it and pull off the front bracket looks good though I’ll be doing mine for my EK Hatch

im guessing you can do this on most civics the same way, does this work on all civics?
Essentially, Evey chassis is slightly different you'll still need to make your own cage or buy one and make your own threaded spots for application but Ultimately yes. This can be done to any civic. Hush performance makes one specifically for this chassis yoo if you want to just pure bolt on.

No one cares where you guys prefer your battery relocated. He has done this on a bunch of cars in the "back" we all know he can relocate in any place in the car if he wants to but he chose that spot. Just fyi hush performance and a few others sale this set up already.
Worst location for a battery. So many things to go wrong with that location. Hopefully it never goes out in the rain or car wash. What happens if battery ever needs a jump? Bumper comes off?
Would this even pass a tech inspection at the track.
