Hi flow NA engine then a turbo added it’s not a lazy engine
Driving4answers just did a great video on remote turbos, apparently it's because its such a large turbo that it doesn't need to boost so hard to get the airflow, one of the advantages of remote mounted setups being you can run a big turbo that wouldn't fit under the bonnet
Better yet, its on stock internals 😂

Okay now this is extremely cool! Not just another modern Audi, not just another car with 700+ bhp and not ruined. A seriously cool, unusual build, that works, is fast, sounds insane, full of trick bits and has been spiced up but keeps Audi's minimalist sexy design. Can't fault it! Props to the owner and everyone involved with building it, seriously cool! 👍

Now this guy knows how to use the gearbox properly ..lovely smooth gear changes ! down shifting when needed then powering back up through the box on the straights ..im old skool now at 55 years of age and was taught to drive quick many moons ago in the same manor ..smooth and quick, this video was a joy to watch. luv it and a massive credit to the owner of this stunning vehicle!

I'm slowly learning more and more about car's and now enjoy trying to take in the mechanical side and handling aspects etc, but as for retro fitting turbo or turbo's to engine I'm sure they can literally turbo anything these days. Some serious clever folk out there 👌what a machine

Honestly, probably one of the best sounding V8 turbo spool along with the engineering challenges, people do not do these type of builds obviously ,it's very difficult but the fact that he put a rear mounted turbo says a lot about this build, if you want to make something similar, please take note of the application, in layman's terms this is one of the gems that you don't see everyday, nowadays everything can be tuned and has been tuned to perfection regardless of the car used, which is a fairly good to be able to tune a car weather at stage 1 Stage 2 or even Stage 3 but when nobody knows how to tune a specific car you need to be get smart and think out of the box to a point ,where you think to yourself ,what has nobody ever tried, what has no one thought of trying and once you've reached that point that's when you get a one-off unique rare build that we should appreciate because there might not be another

Damn that was a lot of yapping to say 'mad car' lol... jokes aside I agree, but this isn't a 'gem you don't see every day', it's a gem you never get a glance of a day in your life until someone like Jamie uploads a video of it haha 1,000,000% I'd rather see lethal builds of normal-ish cars like this, than any super or hypercar. A standard super or hypercar can be bought in minutes, shit like this takes people their life savings, 1000s of hours of tuning, and 10s of years of work sometimes.

Now THIS is how euro turbo v8s should sound! Idk what happened when they added turbos from factory but they don’t sound like this. This is soooo much better!
I'd say it's due to the fact that you can retain long tube headers with a rear mount setup which merge into a Y or X somewhere down the exhaust. The turbo really is only acting like a muffler here so the V8 sound still comes through. On modern TT V8 cars they use log manifolds which mutes the V8 sound alot.
Had the pleasure of a 4 day tour around Scotland in this cars company. Blisteringly fast. He almost caught me!
