hii awh, if you're not too much of an introvert, try making a conversation first with people you meet, that will be easier to make friends! or if you're shy, join school programs like buddy program, a lot of foreigners join these programs or clubs to make friends and go for events/ hangouts together!! all the best:)!!

Hi Opi, I wanted to reach out and ask how your time at Korea University was. I am thinking about studying abroad at Korea University and was wondering how your experience was? As someone coming from the US is it easy to make friends in Korea, how are the classes, the environment etc. Is it good to know some Korean before you go? Also do you get your baseball jacket with your name and major on it as an exchange study? Thank You

Hehe not being bias but I really do like KU, uni life, festivals they’re all quite happening it’s a lot of fun! I didn’t have any problem making any friends at all, I think also because I’m an extrovert but if your more shy there’s so many clubs and buddy programs thats made for people to make friends and all so personally I think it wouldn’t be hard at all! Definitely good to know some Korean before going everything would be so much easier, but i do have friends that came without knowing any Korean as well, sometimes might be hard figuring things out! As for the baseball jacket you definitely can get it but I’m not too sure for exchange student can you get your name and major on it but I think maybe yes? I’m not sure at all though!
