This garbage layout change is so hideous with no dedicated tabs for suggested videos and playlists clashing with the descriptions box and bar on the right side. So damn unintuitive

Try clearing cache on your browser. It solved the problem for me. I am a Firefox user and this is exactly what I did: 1. open the side menu (3 lines) 2. go to Settings 3. go to Privacy & Security 4. scroll to Cookies and Site Data 5. clear Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content Then I logged back in and it worked! Hopefully someone finds this helpful. Also it's worth noting that I previously sent feedback and asked TH-cam to revert the layout, so maybe that's what really solved the problem.
By creating a new YT account, it brings back the old layout. Not the best solution, I know. But better than the disastrous new design. YT is still testing the layout, it's not available to everyone and I hope they put it back.

What the hell TH-cam were thinking to make such a diabolical change I don't know. Just glad I was able to get rid of the new look.

Redux does not work the way you think it does as of today
There's a Redux available for Firefox too, it only makes the viewing screen smaller, and almost half the screen is blank now.
