Produced by Second SIght Productions. This DVD starts with a fabulous film providing thorough analysis of IH manufacturing in the 1970's at Doncaster and their other sites in the UK. It's a celebration of them winning their third Queen's Award for Industry. Two up-to-the-minute British tractors are looked at in detail, the 454 & 574 models representing a brand new concept in farming. While we witness some bizarre machinery picking corn and explore the benefits of the 400 series balers.
Certainly International Harvester was a force to be reckoned with in the middle part of the 20th century and these old movies go a long way to capturing a flavour of that success.

They must've left the oil out of the one in the freezer because the 674 with D-239 that we bought new in 77' would never crank fast enough to start when the temp was less than 0 degrees F. It has over 6500 hrs now and hasn't been touched other than clutch and brake replacements.
