Gnome Alternative Materials: Fuzzy Dollar Tree socks, can be used for the body or hat no sewing required. Dollar Tree Pillow cases, table runners, and kitchen towels can be used to make the body and hat. Pretty much anything made out of enough fabric from Dollar Tree or old clothes from home. You can fill the body with rice, beans, small plastic beads, sand, paper weights or balloon weights. For the nose you can use large beads wooden or plastic, a small yarn ball, make a nose out of a small piece of fabric, any small toy ball, or a small Christmas ornament. For the beard you can use regular fabric, toy beards/mustaches, yarn, or embroidery thread. And you can use FELT for all of the body parts, maybe I should do an all felt one next? Let me know in the comments down below and leave your suggestions for alternative materials as well.
What a cute gnome. Ty. Very helpful this tutorial was to me since I needed beard ideas. My first DIY gnome they said to use fur. I am making 2 gnomes and I used snowflakes to fill it and crushed rocks sand. Ty again for the great ideas. Will be going to my dollar stores tomorrow to find cleaning cloths.-baby ARMY NY USA 💜
Thank you for making a video that is quick, yet very informative!! I don't want to listen to almost 30 minutes of banter, I love your, get to the point. Thanks again
I very much enjoyed your approach for making the gnome. I don’t know...the socks are cute but this one seems to come across crisp & pristine. It is adorable❣️
That is all me right there. doing backward and having to take it apart. so glad that you did that on camera, most cut out there mistakes and makes me feel like I am the only one that makes boo-boos love it! great Job
Cute! I have never seen it made with the cloth. I have seen the mop from dollar tree or some faux fur that the person bought. Also I haven’t seen it made with the sacks. I have seen them use socks.
So cute !!! I have just started making gnomes I love the microfiber cloth for the beard and thrift store fabric I would not have thought of that ty so much for sharing 🤗
REALLY?? We all make mistakes and she acknowledged she did and also showed us how to fix it if we did the same. Stop being a armchair critic and go make your perfect video. We are crafters not professionals. What is wrong with people today, obviously your parents failed to teach you Grace!
miaskittens D I thought about it but I love showing that it’s ok to make mistakes I still use it since the bunny face is usually hidden anyways and all other mistakes were fixed 🤗
