I just want to add that it would also be helpful if you would give us some more information, like aperture, ISO, shutter speed... I just started with the M50 + viltrox adapter + 50mm f1.8 :D

What aperture did you use to get those pentagon bokeh?
Most likely f1.8 as it was so dark
Do we get a bokeh on full body shot with same lens but on m50
Give it a go the 50mm is a great lens
What Canon model camera did you use?
Canon eos r , absolute beast combo with this lens

maybe its just youtube compression but your lens really looks like it needs autofocus microadjustment. my 50 1.8 got significantly sharper after AFMA (it was backfocusing fairly significantly) and only took like 15 mins.
Nothing wrong on my side, check my IG for the sharpness, Must be your TH-cam settings it’s a 2k video
@@jameson_coleman Yeah I checked and most looked fine, so maybe it is just yt. Thought I'm not sure if the ones I looked at you were using the 50mm for.
