    But that's why you spend so much money on a striker. They should be able to come off the bench and score in tight ganes, but they should also finish simple chances, something that Nunez fails to do. K don't think we should get rid of him, but I don't think he should play right now. He needs some serious development. If we got him for £20/30m, then it wouldn't be so bad, but at £85m, there is very little room for error.
    Imagine spending £85k on an M5 and getting smoked by a £25k Corolla. That's how this feels.

    Everyone fails to mention he is the current WC South American Qualifier Top Scorer with 5 goals in 6 matches, while beating both Brasil, and Argentina in La Bombonera!

    Honestly as humans, we forget so fast and we're too quick to judgements. For me personally, Darwin is a very talented and huge player for us. So, HE SHOULD STAY.

    Nunez really divides opinions... but a "correction"... rrgardless of the 2 games he rescued for Liverpool....if he scored even just half of his open goal misses, Liverpool would at the very least still be on top the table all the way till the last day!

    If Michael Edwards keeps Nunez, then I'm believing that he's the right choice as our Nr.9 - if not, then he's not good enough for us, that's my opinion

    Good video man. Nunez shows sparks of natural ability and class but as you said his finishing sitll isn't under control. After being so supportive of him this season I think the fans have started to lose faith and doubt if he is capable of improving. Everything Liverpool is in a bit of a pressure cooker situation at the moment due to the dissapointment over the last 4 weeks. I still have faith in him personally. I think focused training with a finishing coach during off-season would help him develop a more clinical finishing style he can rely on instead of blasting the ball with 100% power every single time.

      @LeemoFooty  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I completely agree bro. If he wasn’t putting himself in good positions, I would have a lot more concern. But I think once he really improves on his finishing, he will really come good.

    Nunez should not go anywhere. If you look at his goals for Benfica, dude is not settled mentally, nothing to do with ability. A penny for Slot's opinion of him. He once sent one of his defenders to train kickboxing just to develop aggression. Unorthodox, but exactly the kind of attention to detail and intervention both DN and TAA need to get to the next level. I'm excited to see what those kinds of tactics will unlock for LFC.

      100% agree. Adapting to new country/club is not easy. People are different, some take it on the stride, others need support. He is human before anything else. If any of those human aspects are not fulfilled to the individual's level of comfort, forget about goals whatever his skill level. The guy is very touchy, probably one or two things need to fall into place for him at a more personal/emotional level. It won't look nice if we fail to unlock this guy, he moves on, takes a few lessons out of it with him and goes on to be what we keep hoping he will become.

      @@dzs4234 nunez is worth persisting with because he gets alot of chances and works hard. Still believe he can be a world class number 9.
