I'm only mad at myself for not getting it sooner. Mia is adorable and hilarious. The game honestly should get more traction than it does. It's a nice change of pace for side scrollers. I love her jelly finishing moves, it's quite hilarious
The tile sets have some oddities to them. But overall much better then what I am able to do. But I hope I can draw characters and art level to at least this point by the time I finish my courses. So for me the art is the most interesting thing here.
This game looks like some silly fun and I might pick it up some time in the future if I'm bored and the price is fairly low, though that may be a while off as my backlog is huge right now. On the topic of silly games, have the IDOI staff heard of an indie Castlevania parody called Super Zangyura that came out for the Switch and PS4 earlier this month? I haven't played it yet so I don't know if it is any good, but I found out that the first boss is a pissing boy statue and now the game is a must-play for me.

Nah bro sorry, but the term for a female wolf (the B word, sorry I don't really swear) is dropped many times throughout the game used by Mia and various other characters and the game also takes high jabs at those in complicated or successful relationships. A married man is getting kidnapped by an entire army of monster girls who repeatedly taunt and mock Mia for being a worthless wife and how Fernando should be dating one of them right in front of her face constantly which is no different than a few guys hitting on a married woman. It can most definitely offend the wrong audience after playing this game despite how funny it was. Anyways I love comical games and this was such a fun one. Morganna was the the best (and sexiest) character as well as the Frost Queen. Nothing really lewd is happening in the game with the exception of the typical jigglin' and bouncing breast from anime girls and sexy bodies as well as the friggin' masochist Frost Queen lol. f you wanna talk about boss fights, Sily and the last set boss fights at the end take the entire cake.
I was willing to write this one off as just another lewd mediocre title (although with the teen rating, I figured it wouldn't too lewd), but I'm glad to hear that it's actually better than most would assume at first glance. I suppose it goes to show that I really shouldn't judge a game by its 'fan service'. It's a shame that the bosses aren't fun and the level designs leave a it to be desired, but I'm glad the music and gameplay is good. I won't deny that the artwork is nice too, even though I wouldn't call half of these monsters actual monsters. I might pick this one up on sale and give it a try if I feel like wasting a few hours.
Do not buy this game. There is a HUGE difficulty spike once you get to the first boss. I emailed the developer about this issue. The first boss is harder than a dark souls boss. Very cheap and am thinking of returning the game

It's a pretty low price too so yeah, if you catch it on a sale you probably won't be all that upset about it.
