I love the Wax Plant Wednesday idea! For video length, I like both. Sometimes I save the long ones until I know I'll be sitting down for a long task, or I'll watch them in chunks rather than all at once. Whatever you put out I think we will watch! ❤
Hi Kevin, did you say MORE HOYA CONTENT?? Yes, please!! I enjoying all of your videos, but your orchid and Hoya content are my favorites!! Love your channel.
Hi Kevin! I see you flexing that Brandi ;) I wanted to thank you, my hoyas never grew well for me, I was ready to give up. I treated them for mites, gave them best media, fertilizers... until I started blasting, and I do mean blasting them, with light :) Now they grow like crazy and it's all thanks to you. I always believed plants need a lot of light but haven't realized how much hoyas really need. They are under 4 x 15 W Barrinas so total 60 W (!) and they are finally growing.
I’m so happy to hear that you want to make more Hoya-content🤩 I have followed you for a long time and I feel extra happy when you show and talk about hoyas👌🏻 My fav at the moment is patella🥰
15:15 I’m loving my Caudata Sumatra and Clemensiorum at the moment! Your Mathilde splash cuttings are so cute 🥹 All your content is great, but the Hoya content is 👨🍳💋
Hi Kevin! I agree with Megsmith! Love all your Videos! Longer ones and other ones! Love the idea of Wax Wednesday too! I would love more knowledge on Hoyas! I.know when to water them, its the amount of water to give mine! They are not in a self watereing pot. Some Hoyas are easier care than others. So much to learn! 😵💫 Thanks Kevin!❤🐾🌿 5:21
My favorite hoya right now are the hoya globulosa & hoya waymaniae, stunning foliage on both. Yes please, the Wax Plant Wednesday is a must! Just take us along the journey with you and we'll be just fine hahaha - as always, Thanks for sharing
You should do a video of the cart in your cart. If it has Planty stuff in it. I’ve got a cart that I put all my plant stuff in there. But I bought a cheap cart and already have a broken wheel. So now I’m buying one from Amazon that’s metal with real wheels instead of casters.
I hates hoyas for the longest time when I first fell down the House-plant-rabbit-hole. I first got a Krimson princess and then quickly got a Krimson Queen and a lacunosa splash. I love my Queen and Princess. I'd love some more splashy hoyas... and I really would love a wilbur graves... funny how things change quickly 😂
I only have 2 Hoya (publications and compacta) and I love them both. Seeing them on a video does them NO justice! I got the compacta 1st because it's different and "wierd" but I was at a Saturday Market and saw the the Publicalx (I know I'm probably spelling that wrong) and I friggen fell in love. I can now see why so many people collect them
Kevin I have a video request. Please give your tips on how to take care of small Hoyas that don’t have a very developed root system. I’m struggling with over watering! I love all the Hoyas but they don’t love me back lol
So I know some plants like begonia and what not always appreciate a good chop and bush out way more, are hoya like that? Or try to chop them as little as possible?
Yes, more hoyas!! They're the only plants I'm interested in. I'm obsessed.!!! Now I want the mathilde splash. It's beautiful! I wonder if it grows as fast as he regular mathilde? It's my fastest growing plant. And the silver dollar hoya, OMG! I'll have to wait because it's too expensive right now.
I like all your content! My Hoya australis is just popping off right now, so I’m here for Hoya. My only other is Hoya linearis. Shooting Star Hoya is on my wishlist. Also any of the dark, black purpley ones.
Kevin i absolutely love your hoya vids! U have no idea how much i appreciate your insight esp as im new to the hoya world. I recently propped my super eskimo in perlite and it rooted super quickly and densely too. How do you decide if to use perlite or pon? Also i love how u pre plan for use of a trellis later on w the cake dowels. Do you have a link for them? Thank you soooo much! Love ur channel and ur diverse content!💚💚
Kevin do you have a link for those black pots you have that have the stopper at the bottom? They look like the T4U brands you use, but I cannot find them anywhere!!
I love hoya and hoya content! My favorite is also my Matilde! I love it so much! I noticed recently the leaves have gotten much lighter. How do I bring back the dark green color it used to have? Is it bleached from too much light?
Question for you. I have ONE little thing of Hoya mathilde in my first/only pon set up. Self watering, maybe 2 cuttings. And it seems like there is some kind of… calcium build up? Or something? That must be coming either from the pon itself or maybe from my water? I know it’s so hard to know when you don’t know the situation/conditions BUT is this something that has happened to you? Do you know if build up will stop growth? Because I had a tiny new growth point near the surface line and it got covered up with the build up and it’s completely stopped growing from there 😅
Oh Kevin I have both a huge FITCHII They grow fast and are beautiful. I also recently got a Hellwigiana cutting. Rooted it and she's growing and sunstressing beautifully ❤. Your Hoyas look amazing. I've been waiting for this video. Thank you
Hi Kevin! I love your hoya content and would love a wax plant wednesday💚 my current favourite Hoya is the collina IR 26. Its cute, its small, it sunstresses and it has splash! What more could you want😍 and it grows so quickly, so many shoots😁 i currently struggle with my new guinea ghost. Its new for me and the new leaves seem to crumble up and die before even getting big... I would appreciate help :) its in a south facing window, in pon and i never let the reservoire dry out... Dont know what im doing wrong :( yours looks amazing 😍 Have a great day!!
Hi 👋 I am just entering my Hoya plant journey and I’m just holding on to every single word of your experience so I can hopefully 🤞 be a good Hoya grower at this point! I love all of your plants and advice because what you do really makes sense to me, of course, I am buying Hoya that are very established and mature so that I won’t kill anything small and delicate right now, I am wondering what your thoughts are about hanging Hoya and no trellis, I love that feeling of being under the canopy of any plant hanging above me and just looking up at the trailing leaves and flowers and pretending to be in my own little jungle! What do you think about hanging vs trellis for Hoya?
Hey!! Aw thanks ☺️ there are some hoyas that are able to push out new leaves without a trellis or support. In my experience my Mathilde doesn’t need a trellis to push out new leaves and that’s why I don’t put one on. Krimson Princess and queen are others. A lot of other Hoyas naturally climb so some definitely need the support. 💚
I love the Wax Plant Wednesday idea! For video length, I like both. Sometimes I save the long ones until I know I'll be sitting down for a long task, or I'll watch them in chunks rather than all at once. Whatever you put out I think we will watch! ❤
Oh yay! And thanks! Good to know 💚
When you're on YT and you get that notification and have to exit out of the current video you're watching to go see your guy, Kevin😂

How do you keep them warm? Just your room temperature or a heat mat?
No heat mat. 65-75 degrees F

I will watch whatever you want to do but I don’t love Hoyas, I know, I know. I’m a Philodendron, Monstera, Ficus, Rhaphidophora girl.
Right now it’s my Hoya multiflora. It’s got a peduncle and that means two blooms in about 6.5 months.
Amazing Hoya and it’s blooms 💚
I'm currently impatiently waiting for my mathilde blooms to open 🥹
Awww yay! How exciting
I wasn’t a Hoya person then I found the lovely sir H Wilbur Graves from the lovely Eloise from @plantifulminds
