    I'm currently using the Forever Run Nitro. So far I have also the same experience that the lockdown is not that tight but for a long and easy runs is its selling point. haven't tried it on a 10mile or half marathon distance but it looks promising. 👍

    Just picked the ForeverRun up for $65 USD. Excited to add it to my rotation.

    My just got the velocity nitro 2s & he seems to like them. They’re his first running shoes though so he had nothing to compare with. Great video as always Cole! 👍

    Proud 10k daily runner in the ForeverRun... which started out as pair of Voyage 3's that I loved so much, I actually bought the ForeverRuns to keep Voyage 3's out of my training rotation before they got too beaten up and smelly because I wanted to wear the Voyage 3's as a daily driver. The Nitro soles are siiick. I also got them each half price, so the ForeverRuns cost me £67 and the Nitros £37... really can't argue with that kind of value! MY only regret was not getting the GoreTex Voyage 3's because the colourway is just that bit cooler imo.

    I currently use the Velocity Nitro 2 as my daily do everything trainer and a and the Magnify Nitro for long and recovery. I'm 84kg so need the cushioning and added stack to avoid bottoming out. for £50 a pair, can't go wrong 😊

      So you run in a carbon plated shoe everyday!?

    • @woodburner292
      @woodburner292 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jonhopkins6061 The Velocity nitro is a regular trainer, not plate. Very comfortable. Since the last post I have lost weight and now at 78kg so the velocities are becoming my go to trainers for even 10k plus.

    • @woodburner292
      @woodburner292 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Velocity Nitro 2 is a regular daily trainer with no carbon plate. In the video I'm 90% sure the one he calls the Liberate Nitro, is a Velocity Nitro. A little confusing.

    I have the deviate nitro elite, and i cant say i like them.
    After 20 kms i always have an instable feeling in them, it took a while to discover it was the shoes as i was often thinking i was just having a bad day.
    But after going trough a few weeks of shoe rotations, i could identify the deviate nitro elites as the culprit.
    Not my fit.
    And i bought them because a friend of mine was praising them, goes to show how different peoples needs are in shoes.

    I like the Deviate (right amount of softness and firmness) . I liked it so much i bought 2. My only dislike is the weight (but it's really a non-issue), and at times i wish the forefoot was the normal nitro (it tends to get really soft after a long time within the run, i tend to dislike super soft foams)

    • @ColeRunning

    I'm using velocity nitro (from cross country race to long runs) and deviate 2 for marathon and half races. I'm not going to spend more then €100 for a runnig shoe, so at this prices thery're simply the best

    I've only used the velocity in the current line up. Decent as a daily, and a little more cushioned than the v1. Outsole takes some beating too, grippy on almost any surface. Tempted by the deviate / deviate elite. C'mon Coleee!

    • @ColeRunning
      @ColeRunning  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The deviate nitro 2’s are proper comfy, of the 2 I’d pick the non-elite ones and use them as a light training or steady run shoe!!

    85kg, medium width size 12us midfoot/forefoot striker pace 4-30-6/km.. Puma elite 1 was absolutely amazing but elite 2 not as good, less pop, less speed.. Used the elite 1 for everything, did everything amazing, intervals 2-3 pace it made me fly, maybe long jump would be perfect too..

    So I recently bought the deviate nitro elite 1 (idk bout 2 but it'd carbon plated) . Its shit. I don't know why all the reviews love it. Maybe it's my running technique, I'm very mid foot.... It feels like bricks, no pop, no energy return, given me blisters. I've tried ankle fillers and I've different socks.. Only thing I like is it does seem to save my legs so I try to use them for short easy runs. To get my moneys worth. It's cheap at £60 and there's a reason why its at that low price. That's personal preference tho

      I haven’t tried the 1 but the 2 is honestly very good value for money for a carbon plated super shoe. It can’t compete with the top dogs if price was no option, but it’s still a good option in my opinion!
